21yoGMParticipantThey have to make a move for a center. Andy can hold down the center position when he’s healthy but that not been fir whole season often. With that being said they have to make a move. A defensive rim porotector would be ideal but I don’t know who’s available that can do that. Who could they possibly bring in to play center for them?

21yoGMParticipantHe also often injured. I guess him and and Andy could play 82 games combined next year. Me personally I would try to make a trade for young center if possible. I was looking at the 2013 draft when they could have drafted gorgui dieng, mason plumlee, or even Rudy gobert and they new they needed a protecter and they took Sergei karasev

MorseWillParticipantSign Birdman as a rim protecting center, to backup Varejao when healthy

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantHe is crazy, Crazy good like a fox.
He has issues and Lebron had issues with people who had issues last time he was a Cav but he could be cheap and represents high upside. He could represent the only center who could be acquired fairly easy with a 20 PER.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantSomeone like Ekpe Udoh might be a good fit too. He’ll never live up to his draft selection but he’ll come cheap and can provide a big body off the bench that can protect the rim and maybe grab 5 RPG and 1.5 BPG.
As far as vets go Elton Brand (who can play PF and C) might be the kind of player that wants to go championship hunting at this stage of his career. Brand would bring leadership and still has a bit left in the tank, good for 20 MPG.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI agree with going after Birdman, too.
If the Rockets then get Bosh (which would be likely) then how about the Cavs taking a run at Omer Asik?
They might be able to do a three way trade: Bosh and Mario Chalmers to Houston, Asik to Cleveland, and Jeremy Lin (and Luol Deng in a sign and trade) to Miami.
If the Cavs can’t get Omer Asik then a Luol Deng for Birdman sign and trade makes a lot of sense. The Heat will need some depth on the wing and the Cavs could use Birdman’s ability to protect the paint, block shots, rebound, and dunk.
