    How come Dominic Artis, Damyean Dotson and Brandon Austin all got expelled from the University of Oregon and aren’t even allowed to step a foot on the campus when there wasn’t even enough evidence for any legal action to be charged against them? However, Jameis Winston also got accused of rape but did face trial and his career nearly got cut short as he would have faced jail time if he had been pleaded guilty. I don’t understand the difference.

     Jameis was only accused, never had a trial, never charged, never arrested. Evidence was not enough to even pursue a trial. Their were witnesses that said they saw the girl willingly with Jameis. Also, 2 different samples of semen were found in the girks underwear.

    Part of the reason could be Eugene is more of a liberal city. The people are really outspoken and have strong convictions on those types of issues.
