thetrademachineryParticipantBucks giving: Sanders and Ilyasova
Nets giving: Lopez and Teletovic, possibly Garnett
Thats what J.Kidd wants, however they are looking for a third partner to have the contracts. This should probably resolve after free agency becomes clearer.

omphalosParticipantI thought they weren’t allowed to trade because they did the whole coach contract, that’s probably why they want the third party.

220ParticipantI don’t believe that’s the case. Thr problem last year was that the Clippers and Celtics discussed trading players along with Doc Rivers and that isn’t allowed. David Stern came out and outright stated he’d heard the rumors and wouldn’t allow the Clippers and Celtics to make deals for Rivers, Pierce, and Garnett.
The Bucks situation is different in that there were no rumored trades regarding the Nets and the Bucks during the process of the Bucks acquring Jason Kidd. So I don’t believe there will be a conflict.

natedogggParticipantThis was discussed on Zach Lowe’s Podcast but it was actually said to be have been what Kidd wanted at the trade deadline, so assumingly he should be happy to have Sanders and Erson.

DukeDaSquadParticipantWhy get rid of a shotblocking center when your soon to be best player, jabari parker, is a slow footed defender who will get beat off the dribble several times a game.

RUDEBOY_Participantkg might retire before playing for the rebuilding bucks…plus he has a trade clause in his contract…

tuck243ParticipantLopez played a season in the NBA? Why would the Bucks accept this trade?

mixtape2003ParticipantI think the Bucks are just tired of Sanders antics and are ready to cut ties with him. Like you said not sure why they would touch Lopez though, too injury prone

machu46ParticipantAs one of the other posters said, this was a trade that Kidd wanted to make when he was with Brooklyn. He’ll be happy to have Larry and Ersan now.
And Milwaukee and Brooklyn are not allowed to trade with one another for a year as a result of trading for Jason Kidd. The NBA has stated that they are not allowed to trade with one another.
