313LOUDParticipantHe has signed back with Boston…….. http://mweb.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/24604202/avery-bradley-celtics-agree-to-4-year-32-million-deal

CavFanPRParticipantDon’t like that contract at all. Another overpay?

celtics1982ParticipantIt’s not an overpay, it’s a sign that Boston believes that Bradley at 23 will just keep getting better. Which I believe he’ll do. While this deal is in no way a steal for the Celtics, its also not a gross overpay, not when Meeks is getting 6.5 million a year

FearTheStacheParticipantUnderstandable contract based off of what he can do for this team. Just not the best contract to continue with for a rebuilding team

UnbiasedObserverParticipantYeah this in my opinion is a pretty good deal for the Celtics. He does everything ok, is still improving his jump shot. Hes only 23 and has upside but what sets him apart is his DEFENSE. The kid is a bulldog and is an elite defender in this league

celtics1982ParticipantAt this point, seems like Celtics will trade Green and Rondo and go into total rebuild mode. So I don’t see how this contract is bad for a rebuilding team. As long as Danny doesn’t take on long term contracts when he trades Rondo and Green we’ll still have tons of cap room again next year.

hooverballParticipantThey are eyeing a backcourt of Smart and Bradley. Should be a good combination. Keep in mind Bradley shot 39.5% from 3 last year. More than 1.1 steals and 1.3 3’s per game to go with 15 points and good defense. There just weren’t a lot of people watching him play…

DolanCareParticipantThis deal is a steal if Bradley proves to be a consistent spot up shooter. We all know what a great transition scorer and defender he is.

Jester87ParticipantI wouldn’t say a steal but if he can really make almost 40% of his 3 point attempts like he did last year (or something close to that) he might deserve that money. If his shooting numbers are just a fluke and defenders can sag off, then his contract is going to look awful

Meditated StatesParticipantHe was a good shooter. He started off slow in the NBA do to a further 3 point line and just nerves. He is a shooter/defender. Shooting numbers are real. No fluke.

CodySLCParticipantHe gave you 15ppg almost 4rpg and shot almost 40% from 3’s in only 31mpg. He’s only 23, I’d say he’s worth it.

Lotto StudParticipantWhy not pay the only PG/SG in the game that will press a guy 94 feet up the floor?
Name 1 Superstar PG in the league that consistently presses the ball up the entire floor.
I bet anything, he becomes an early-mid 40-year old vet!

HitsterParticipantGood value deal for both sides, Avery gets a decent sized contract and the Celtics don’t overpay him.

ConezdParticipantPretty marginal deal. About what you’d expect nowadays for a guy like Bradley. I’m in the minority on here, because I don’t like him as a player. Too small. No point gaurd skills. At all. Only a good defender on small gaurds. Overrated defender, he does press 94 feet which is a pain for the opposing PG but he only manages about 1 steal a game even though he’s up tight on his man non stop. He has a hard time contesting shots because he’s short. Inflated offensive stats because of the Celtics lack of offensive weapons. And by lack of, I mean complete absence of offensive weapons. Good luck to the celtics if this guy is your staring two gaurd.
