no1ParticipantAre the raptors actually going to pass on Derozan? cause now its both this site and draftexpress saying james johnson is the pick. I didnt want the raps to take Demar but id rather him than johnson. This should be interesting.

Adi JosephI believe the clear choice for the Raptors is Henderson. He and Harden are the shooting guards who can make immediate impacts, and the Raptors have a legitimate shot to be VERY good next year with a starting lineup of Calderon / Henderson / Marion / Bosh / Bargnani.
But the hype is saying Toronto likes Johnson, which makes me wonder if they’re planning on letting Marion go free.

llperezI think DeRozan should be the pick. I do like both Johnson and Henderson, but DeMar has the chance to be something really special in this league. And I don’t think the Raptors will be that good next year.

Ch13f23ParticipantI like the thing about DeRozan being something special but he ain’t ready to contribute right away, while James Johnson are one of the players on this draft that could contribute right away and with Marion’s situation they would likely try to save some money and with drafting Johnson and contributing right away it would make sense especially Toronto is trying to convince Bosh to stay with the team.
