Anyoody else curious how the NBAs two favorite teams, Lakers and Heat, got steals in the second round.  Jordan Clarkson, a guy projected around 25, falls to the Lakers at 46 (after Randle falls to them at 7) and Semaj Christon, once projected by this omnipotent website to go in the top 10, falls to the Heat at 55.

The Heat pick at 55 Semaj Christon was involved in the deal for Shabazz Napier so he’s going to the Hornets

Semaj belongs to Charlotte. We overhyped Clarkson way too much.

C’mon man use your brain. How would a conspiracy around ‘steals’ work logistically? Are you saying the NBA in conspiration with the Heat somehow convince all the teams with picks before them not to take him?

No conspiracy theory just extremely good sleeper pick by the Lakers. I heard that Christon was traded to the Thunder. I think in the end Christon was first selected by Philly then quickly dealt to Charlotte, and now Charlotte trades him to OKC. Dang, Christon puts on 3 different caps in the end. (I think it the end it was two, because Sixers had already traded Christon to the Hornets by the time they selected him with one of their 5 second round picks)
