BallinmvpParticipantAccording to Adrian Wojanaski of Yahoo Sports via twitter the magic and nuggets are finalizing deal to send afflalo to the nuggets. All terms of the deal have not been released yet

Moon RiverParticipantAnother player the Bulls like that they won’t land. I like how Gar/Pax drafts, but when it comes to trades and free agency, I don’t like how they operate. Afflalo made a ton of sense to the Bulls.

jonus grumbyParticipantI’m thinking this could mean talks with Minnesota are not progressing. He seemed like a player the Bulls might ship off in a trade to get Love. If that is the deal it seems like a cheap way to get more talent to include in the Love offer.

FutureNBAGMParticipantIf that’s true, it’s a great deal for the Nuggets and I’m surprised Orlando couldn’t get back a little more for Afflalo.

XYRYXParticipantStrange deal for the Magic. I think the Bulls or even the Thunder might have made better offers without taking back much salary to the Magic.
Chandler back in Dallas
Afflalo back in Denver
What’s next? LeBron back in Cleveland???

TyroberParticipantSeems like a terrible trade for the Magic. Couldn’t believe this was the best they could get for Afflalo?

redone1ParticipantAfflalo is pretty much an expiring contract because he will likely opt out of his deal next year so thats not too bad of a trade. Espicially since Afflalo is not someone the Magic see in there long term plans. Now they can give those minutes to a young player/draft pick (Exum or Smart?)

chall23ParticipantFournier is actually not a bad player. The dude can score but I am more surprised they didn’t aquire a higher draft pick.

treytalkssports.comParticipantI think this means that the Cavs have either agreed to a trade with another team for the first pick or they have decided not to trade the pick.

BA30ParticipantGoing into the day I felt like the Cavs were at a 60% chance of dealing the pick. I think that drops to about 30% or so. One thing that bothers me is the rumor that the Cavs were trying to get Oladipo and the #4 pick for the #1. Chris Grant was not respected in the league because he always over-valued his assets. Griffin, by insisting on Oladipo (if true) is just silly. Orlando would never do that.

Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantI guess this means Denver IS picking Saric. They might’ve gotten Harris or Young before but now they have Afflalo. Denver was rumored to get Saric.

juves4783Participanti don’t think so. i think this means they draft zach lavine. for 2 reasons…1. lavine has the highest ceiling and can sit behind foye and afflalo since both will probably be gone in a year. 2. t-wolves have a promise with lavine so maybe this is a way to make the love trade happen.

burgessfourParticipantI would hate to see what Thad commands, so use him in a deal for pick 1 or keep him if that’s the going price.

bkb77ParticipantGuess this means the Cavs rejected the offer for 4,12,Afflalo is it was a true offer as reported.
Looks like the Cavs will keep the 1st pick but I still don’t rule out a last second hail-mary by Hinkie to move The Sixers up but it’s looking like CLE has agreed on who they will take and barring some Huge Offer by Philly the Cavs have decided on their guy.

220ParticipantI thought the Magic would’ve acquired the Nuggets first round pick in this deal rather than Fournier and a late second rounder. I wonder if the Magic highly value Fournier, if they have their eyes on some free agents, or they are keeping costs down.

burgessfourParticipantonce Lebron opted out the Bulls weren’t interest in Affalo because they need to clear cap space if they want Lebron.

doubledribblerParticipantI would bet pretty much any dollar amount that LeBron won’t go to the Bulls. It has nothing to do with the situation as much as it does with Thibs. I think Thibs would severely overwork him like he has done with Butler, Deng, and Noah.

BA30ParticipantThings may have changed in the last 4-5 years, but Lebron always said he didn’t want to go to Chicago because that was Michael Jordan’s team so may be a factor. Of course he was wearing number 23 at that time so could have been the main reason.
