The GoatParticipantI’d still make the deal with Orlando instead if its really there – #1 for Afflalo, #4 and #12. I’d even throw in Waiters.
Just gotta hope then that Philly take Exum over Embiid. Then you can have Irving, Afflalo, Hood or McBuckets (#12), Thompson, Embiid (#4), Jack, Bennett, Varejao

r377ParticipantIs this true or just a rumour ? I have just read that they "enquired" about trading the no1 pick with orlando for the no4 and dipo.

MisterMordenParticipantOrlando seems to be in love with Exum. Hope they’ll wind up with him somehow, and jumpstart their Penny 2.0 revolution.

drpg913ParticipantExum can’t be taken before Marcus Smart its one of the craziest things I’ve heard. The hype has been building for a long time. But now its getting ridiculous. Nobody has ever seen him play against Elite competition (Harrison twins don’t count because they aren’t that good) and he’s not the explosive athlete that Penny was. I’ve heard this kid get compared to Russell Westbrook(albeit by hisself) Kobe and Penny. All those guys have atleast 39inch vertical leaps and Penny had an amazing feel for the game to go with his athleticism.
Also there is no way on God’s green earth you can draft Vonleh before Randle. For people to even consider this is just ridiculous

CodySLCParticipantIt was reported that the Jazz had made this offer a couple days ago. Has the trade been agreed to by the Cavs now?

JCliff24ParticipantFavors, Burks, #5 and #23 was the rumor WITHOUT Waiters involved. Not a snowflakes chance and hell the Cavs include Dion to trade down out of the top spot.

BA30ParticipantWaiters was never in that trade scenario. Cavs will likely package him with T Thompson or someone else though to get another vet I would imagine. Could be only if they get a SG replacement though.

vulture711ParticipantCleveland has to deal with Philly because any of these Orlando or Utah trades get ruined when Philly takes Embiid – which they are going to do. Unless they want Dante Exum they best keep their pick and shut up

CodySLCParticipantI can’t find anything new about it. But I honestly hope it happens and Andrew Wiggins can become the new face of the Jazz. As good as Favors, Hayward, etc are we are lacking a player with true "star" potential. This could be our first chance to get a franchise guy since D-Will.
And if anyone’s still thinking it’s going to be Jabari IF we get the pick and have the choice of the two, it’s not going to happen. Yes I know he’s mormon, but so what. We still go BPA with Wiggins ceiling being higher.

xJumpManxParticipantCavs have already said Utah offer does not interest them. Cavs are not blowing this pick and giving away their cap flexibility for slighly above average to average players.

tidhoParticipantIf Cleveland makes a lottery pick, they are picking 1st overall. ALL of the trade scenarios are to see if they can bundle a group of assets that will make a team move a star veteran.

burgessfourParticipantdeal I’ve been seeing for a few weeks did not include Waitors, it was 5, 23, Favors and Burks. Maybe I’m too high on Favors but I think that’s a great haul for the Cavs (I’m a Sixers fan). If they’re not interested in that deal the Cavs should just take Wiggins/Parker and be done with it. Wiggins/Parker, Irving, Waitors, Bennett, Thompson…….just let it play out, that team could be awesome if they just have the patience to let it develop.
