At first I didn’t understand what the Celtics could possibly offer to entice the Cavaliers to give up the number one pick, now I do. http://www.celticsblog.com/2014/6/25/5840148/boston-celtics-help-cleveland-cavaliers-lebron-james-carmelo-anthony-parker-wiggins-nba-draft-rumor

lmao, Cleveland doesn’t need Boston’s help, and the moves they would need to make don’t need to be any where near that disruptive.

What do you mean the moves Cleveland needs to make don’t need to be that disruptive?  They have to waive all rights to free agents and players with teams options and then remove another 19 plus million from their payroll.  To get down to around 20 million.  You can’t get down to 20 million in team payroll without gutting most of the Team!!!  Now you could try sign and trades, but that’s a lot harder and would still require you to give up a ton of assets.  Also by dumbing all the salary it would allow you to use the full mid level and not the tax payer mid level.

With all that said I see no reason why this would happen, why would Lebron want to play with Melo?  They play the same position, it makes no sense.  Cleveland should try and get Love, that would be a better pairing.

Celtics know they have a long ways to go before they even sniff the playoffs. Right now they are stuck in medicority.  They need to trade Rondo to someone and rebuild. Stars do not choose to go to Boston and the stars in the sky are not lining up again for them to get in trades.

Jeez my head is full with smoke now. All this crazy trade, FA and draft ideas make me crazy right now. Can’t wait for draft day to see what is happening.

Btw, IF and I actually don’t see LeBron go back to Cleveland, IF he really is back in a Cavs uniform next year I would like to see the fans reactions to this. I really can’t envision that the same people who burnt bis jersey 4 years ago go back to embrace their lost son now.

If the Heat fans are a bunch of bandwagoners I would really like to see how the Cavs fanbase reacts to this.
