SixerBloodParticipantWith all this free agent speculation going on around here you guys should remember what just transpired in Houston about a year and a half ago…. The Rockets then under Sam Hinkie loaded up on young players and salary and then struck GOLD with two stars Dwight and Harden via trades and free agency. Hinkie now with Philadelphia is sorta doing the same only this time "better". YES I said BETTER reason being he has learned how this rebuilding thing works. That being said The Philadelphia 76ers WILL get one of the best players in the league within the next 2 years maybe even this week! WATCH and see hoe Philly’s name starts to circulate in all these talks, wouldn’t be apprised if they got…….. "The King"

frogmanParticipantIt honestly doesn’t take much brilliance to trade all your decent players for draft picks and scrubs.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantJUST NOT KING SIZED MIRACLES
I do believe we are building something special although we do need a bit of luck and 1 of the big Free Agents to be to take a chance on our City/Franchise/Fan Base/Market/Roster
Although I don’t believe we sign anyone outside of Chandler Parsons this year(Who Hinkie loves BTW)
We have to hold out hope that Kevin Love is that guy that happens to end up here in Philadelphia, aside from spurning the Lakers and Celtics he’d be coming to a City built for his blue collar Brand, he and the City of Brotherly Love are a perfect fit in every sense of the word, from both a Marketing and basketball standpoint Love would become an overnight Icon in Philly…
Now lets says we get very lucky and land 2 great players at 3 and 10 and sign Chandler Parsons, I believe that would be a small miracle and a step in the right direction, and IF Kevin Love makes it to free agency NEXT summer we offer him the Keys to Our City and start praying for that Miracle…
Who wouldn’t think about playing with a core of
MCW and Noel (All Star Level PG and DPotY type at Pf/C)
The 3rd pick (It’sill Wiggins/Parker or Embiid IMO, with a slight chance it’s Vonleh/Randle, either guy has a serious chance at showcasing his All Star Potential in Philadelphia next year)
The 10th pick (Most likely a rock solid SG like Harris or Stauskas or a boom or bust type in Lavine or Young)
Chandler Parsons or Thad Young as Starters/6th Man, Tony Wroten as spark plug off the bench and at least 1 other player out in the second round and 1 in next year’s Lottery

jtthebrickParticipantNeither LeBron nor Love would want to play in Philly. You have the assets to trade for Love, but he wouldn’t stay beyond next season. You first need to develop a star before you can attract other veteran stars. MCW is not a star yet. He won rookie of the year with inflated and meaningless stats, because someone had to win it in a weak year for rookies.
Slow growth and development is what the Sixers need to do for now, and they won’t be contenders in 2 years. Maybe in 5 or 6 if they play their cards right.

bmac697ParticipantThis Would be the miracle I could see. All heat players opt out. They try to form a four sum by adding melo but can get money to work. Bosh leaves to Houston and melo wade Lebron sign. And with money left over add Lowry. Now this is just my medical situation not saying it would happen but in some universe may happen.
