WhodunitParticipantbeing posted… UNTIL and UNLESS something actually happens i dont wanna hear about all these made up scenarios.. More gossip talk with no roots or basis. Thing is, when a trade scenario gets brought up suddenly theres something like a 5% chance it actually happens.. So not worth discussing or paying attention to imo.. Plus the draft is less than 48hrs away… Thats when everything starts anyway.

JCliff24ParticipantWell someones finger slipped through the toilet paper today. If you arent trying to read rumors and trade scenarios you might want to stay off the forums until after the draft.

WhodunitParticipantEspecially When Social Media and other NBA websites keep pumping them out (valid or completely made up) just to get eyeballs looking at them. Isn’t it all for nothing, i mean we talked about "HEY Melo’s coming to Miami to form the Big 4!" for like a week until we got tired of it and realized how ridiculous that idea is. People will buy anything, as long as its juicy. I mean, ive only just signed up to nbadraft.net and think the average user is pretty knowledgeable and intelligent, arent we smarter than that on here?
Honestly what % of rumors posted on here actually happen? Someone give us a ballpark estimate, im curious… I’d say less than 3%.. Is that really worth pondering or thinking about just to excite your senses for a few minutes when in actuality its nothing more than an article in Gossip/Stars Magazine. Is this anything more than a Chris Brousard: "sources say…."?
But your right, i have no right to spoil the party, just wanted to throw the thought out there.

Hacker90ParticipantMaybe just don’t click on the title, that might help you not pay attention to it.

BallinmvpParticipantI post reports and rumors for those who want to read them, this is a place to discuss all things basketball. You need to get a grip, if you don’t want to read them then don’t even click on them. However, there are people who enjoy all the latest buzz.

OhCanada-ParticipantTo be fair the post says Celtics interested in the #1. Sounds like that is a fact 100%. Why wouldnt they be interested. Says that Orlando offered 4, 12, and Afflalo for the 1st overall so it would be tough to match any offer since they have 6, and 17 unless they added Rondo. Its an opinion and nobody takes it as factual he purposely said he would assume they are using 6, 17 to bring in the 1st pick and Orlando has an advantage.
Take it with a grain of salt. Sherrod Blakely said Celtics engaged in trade talks. Dan Feldman said he thinks Orlando has the upperhand and can offer more unless Rondo is in play.
What I think is Cleveland is probally asking for the 4th, 12th and Afflalo yet that is too much. So is the 6th, 17th and Rondo. Young players like Harris, Harkless and Vucevic or Sullinger, Olynyk, Bradley and Pressey are probally being thrown in on talks despite Orlando and Bostons disinterest in involving them in any trades.

mixtape2003ParticipantAnd just because it a rumor or it doesn’t happen does not mean that the trade was not on the table at some point. I pretty sure teams go back and forth with trade ideas and we prob only hear a small % of the senarios.
