Unfortunately, I had to stop taking you seriously when you considered Julius Randle’s comparison Michael Beasley as a realistic scenario yet Anthony Mason (who was an all-star in 2001) as a worst case scenario

My focus was on making comparisons that compliment a players overall talent, skill set , and physical ability. And Even though Anthony mason is a more productive player that Micheal Beasley. Micheal Beasley dramatically possesses more talent, better offensive scoring skills, and greater physical ability

I can’t believe I never came up with the Wiggins / Iguodala comparison. It’s the best I’ve seen.

How? They have completely different games. Iggy couldnt shoot a lick till several years into his NBA career, but had a very good handle for a wing. Wiggins in stark contrast is a pretty good shooter but is not anywhere close to the playmaker/ball handler that Iggy was at that stage or is now. The only trait they share is being elite athletes and defenders, and we don’t even know if Wiggins defensive ability will translate yet.

So realistically speaking according to you, Rodney Hood will be a better player then Wiggins????

So you think Jabari Parker (Who you have ranked first) realistically will be Antoine Walker? Then you think the second best player out of this draft ( I’m guessing Randle bc you have second on your list) will realistically be as good as Michael Beasly or Al Harrington?

You must not have high expectations for this draft class

You do realize that Antoine Walker was one of the best forwards in the league during his prime right?  I’m not saying I like the comparison, but if Jabari Parker (or anybody else) could be a smarter version of Antoine Walker, you would have one hell of a player.  Trust me.  He was extremely talented.

I like a few of your comparisons – some i haven’t seen before. The Randle – Cummins one made me think back.

The Cheaney – Hood one is different. I can see that comparison but maybe not worse case scenerio. Cheaney was a beast back in college, still had a decent pro career although didn’t quite live up to draft day expectations….

Also like the worse case Daye – anderson comp
