SwatLakeCityParticipantHere is my latest update on my mock draft. I do have comments for most of the first round. But I am warning you some are pretty long so be prepared for the novel writeup. Otherwise you can just look at the mock draft without the comments. I will update my mock draft and post it to the public one more time on Thursday draft day (probably in the morning/early afternoon. But I won’t make many changes on Thursday.
What are your thoughts?

JCliff24ParticipantGreat mock, the only think I dont like is Philly having MCW, Dante Exum, and Zach Lavine. I feel like I’d be seeing triple. Their playing styles are too similar.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI thought about that, but you might want to take a look at my comments for the 3rd, 7th, and 10th picks. In the end I have a trade with the Lakers.
Philly lineup would be: Exum, Anderson, Grant (32nd pick), Randle, Noel
LA Lakers lineup would be: MCW, Kobe/Lavine, Swaggy P/Johnson, Thad. Young, Kaman/Sacre.

ExumInfernoParticipantAll of the picks make sense. Orlando go big first, then a point guard later. Embiid slips a bit due to all the injuries. Saric gets to a team with multiple picks, so if he is 3 or so years away it isn’t a huge problem as they don’t need him right now.
Denver would have McDermott and Gallinari, the comments say Denver might want to plan for replacing him but that would seem to take away from other needs. They do have many shooting guard options at that pick. Maybe Denver teams of the past had two forward like McDermott and Gallinari, maybe English and Vandeweghe, so maybe those two could play together if needed.
Not that it matters, but maybe Tavares goes a lot higher.
The teams with multiple first rounders, like the Celtics and Bulls and Magic and Suns, all seem to get the right types of players.
