valentineListen up people…Have you guys ever heard of the term POSTERING ????
Well all the stupid rumors are planted by GM’s in order to force other GM’s to give up more or to help shape public opinion for or against potential trades or to embarrass GM’s…
Do you guys really believe the Warriors would be sooo stupid to give up D. Lee, Klay and a future 1st rounder..for Love and K. Martin ??? If you do then you are STUPID!!!
Flip wants that deal but the Warriors will never do that…by the time you hear the rumor it will never happen…so to really understand what might happen you need to read between the lines…
LOVE is going to BOSTON….period…. and i will bet my house on it!!!
Flip knows that K Love is not a superstar and so does the rest of the World…he is a 2nd or even 3rd option on a Contending Team…ie like Chris Bosh !
No other team has a quality PF with upside like Sullinger and tons of picks like the Celtics do…teams like the Bulls, Warriors and Rockets WILL NOT DESTROY the nucleus of the their team…and give away young talent like Taj Gibson, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson or Chandler Parsons…it just won’t happen for a Very Very Very good player but not a SUPERSTAR player like K Love….TRUST ME !!!!
That was Flip’s outrageous

UnbiasedObserverParticipantI will admit, Flip is doing a pretty good job at driving up the price of Kevin Love.
Its going to cost the Celtics either Olynyk or Sullinger, Bass, plus the 6th and 17th picks, at least one future first rounder and the Celtics are likely going to have to take on Martins contract.
There was a report today that the Warriors GM said a trade for Love was ‘unlikely’.
Celtics will probably get Love, but at a heavy cost.

Hacker90ParticipantHouston were to trade for Love and Parsons was the best player from Houston…I think they do that trade in a second. Love and Parsons are both 25. Love averaged 26 & 12.5 last year. I don’t think he would average more points but playing with Harden and Howard should only help him get easier shots. I’d much rather see him on Houston then in Boston

Nick YoungParticipantI honestly don’t think the Celtics have the players to trade for Love, and I don’t want them to trade their draft picks. Why not just wait one more year and sign him in free agency? In my dream scenario, the C’s just keep their two picks in the first round and take, for example, Nik Stauskas at 6 and Cleanthony Early at 17. Then, if those guys for some reason work out, you have a very alright team. Combine that with the fact that Boston plays in the East plus the pretty big market of Boston (rich history and stuff) and Love will think: ‘Hey, I can actually have a winning record with these guys’. So the year after that you have a starting line-up of Rondo, Stauskas, Early, Love and a center you can draft with Brooklyn’s pick. Boom.
