LitteringAnd…ParticipantHaven’t been intensely negged in a while so here goes:
CLEVELAND
Trade: Waiters, #1, Jack —————— Recieve: Favors, #5UTAH
Trade: Favours, M. Williams, #5, #23 —– Recieve: Thad Young, #1, #3276ERS
Trade: Thad Young, #32 —————— Recieve: Waiters, M. Williams, #23Just expanding on previous ideas, I felt Utah trading Favors and #5 to Cavs for #1 wasn’t balanced. Just an idea; who says no do you think?
Surely Cavs take Favors as their big man and then BPA at 5, especially since Embiid is likely dropping now. If they still want him despite the injuries, or they want Wiggins or Parker this doesn’t go through. They can take Embiid at #5 maybe or one of Smart, Randle or Vonleh.
Jazz get thier man in Parker, lose Favors but are compensated with Thad Young to play PF as I think this team can’t afford another year in the lottery.
76ers are there to make it work but Young gets to leave after that nightmare of a season, they get a nice piece in Waiters as they’re light at the 2 spot. They trade one (or it could be two) of their second rounders to get another in the first.

draftmangtParticipantTerrible trade for the Cavs. #1 by its alone should be enough for 5+Favors and even then its not a good trade for the Cavs because theres nothing really available to them at 5, they have no need for Smart, Randle, or Vonleh.

LitteringAnd…ParticipantFair enough, you’re probably right now that I think about it. Do you think (assuming they keep it) they favour Parker or Wiggins, who is the better fit?

draftmangtParticipantUnless they trade Waiters, Wiggins is absolutely the better fit. Irving and Waiters have struggle to play together, I don’t adding another ball dominant player in Parker would be a good idea. Plus Irving, Waiters, nor Parker are good perimeter defenders and currently the Cavs lack a rim protector

JCliff24ParticipantDion Waiters has consistently improved in all aspects of the game. After the All-Star Break he was the Cavs leading scorer. So you’re asking for that guy, the number 1 pick in the strongest draft in years, and Jack for arguably Utah’s 4th best player and the #5 pick.
No.
