For fun I just wanted to see what people would think the 2015 Draft would look like if Adam Silver raised the age limit to 2 years.  How about just lottery alone…

#1 Overall pick honors- Marcus Lee- Based on potential alone will land him the #1 overall spot.

#2 Wayne Seldon- Strong guard with an attack mode.  Next season should be better for him.

    #3Rondae Hollis-Jefferson- All around slasher/defender

    #4 Aaron Harrison

    #4Willie Cauley

    #5 Andrew Harrison

    #6 Brice Johnson

    #7 Carvis LeVert

    #8 Mario Hezonja

    #9 Montrezl Harrel

    #10 Chris Walker

    #11 Marcus Paige

    #12 Kaleb T.

    #13 Brandon Dawson

    #14 Perry Ellis

Again , No Freshmen allowed.  Maybe in some cases Sophomores if they are not 20 by the time of the draft.

Just doing this to see how everyone would rank the players so don’t take it too seriously.

Good list, mine would probably look similar but I’m higher on caris levert than you are. All he needs is to bulk up more, improve handles, and jump shot. I don’t think that’s much to ask of him this off-season. I pretty much think he’s better than Harrison now, with more to improve. Also, he  Will be a junior, but I think that he’s young for his class, I might be wrong.

As long as they are 20 in that calendar year, they are fine.  That’s how Andre Drummond was available in 2012.  He didn’t turn 19 until August, but since it was in the calendar year, he was fine.  Great topic and would love to see how this shakes out!

I don’t think that there is much chance of a change being put in for the 2015 draft at this point due to timing, but maybe the 2016 draft. One thought here is that previously I loved the idea of adding to the age limit- as a fan of the college game it is a great thing, for player development for the mid-to-late lottery and lower freshmen each year it’s a great thing because the time on the bench stunts development. However if/when this change goes into effect, we could possibly be looking at the worst NBA draft in years. I mean this year’s top prospects would be Smart, Saric, Harris, McDermott, Payton, and Stauskas

Would add Porzingis (borderline lotto this year, should move up in a watered down draft) and Brandon Ashley (always been a fan and think he’ll finally get some serious buzz this year at AZ). Other possible 1st rounders could include: Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker (WSU), Kyle Wiltjer (can he have a year Olynyk after a redshirt at Gonzaga?).
