ColdCutsParticipantWhich team are you picking for, and who’s your pick? Your the GM so make it count. Team need, best player available.

juves4783Participantnuggs…take zach lavine. why? we have lawson, nate-rob, foye, fournier, gallo, chandler, faried, hickson, mcgee and mosgov. that’s a solid 10. swing for the fences and hope lavine develops into a superstar in a couple years. bryan shaw is supposed to be a great developmental coach and got a lot of credit for making paul george a superstar so let’s see what he can do with lavine.

WetalkinboutpracticeParticipantPaul George talks about Shaw like the man gave him a chromosome. I really want to see what Shaw can do with a healthy team in Denver, they certainly have the pieces for a playoff run even in the daunted western conference.

TimberTrollParticipantLaVine to Denver is probably the only pick I’m sold on right now. His speed is perfect for Denver and I think he will produce much quicker than most predict.

ColdCutsParticipantLaVine to Denver would be a great fit for both LaVine & Denver. The speed and plus Shaw could develop him into a really nice combo guard, as a Lakers fan I would like to see LaVine to Denver.

Captain LParticipantAs a Jazz fan I like Gordon at 5, he is versitile , athletic, can play D at either the 3 or the 4, good handles, good passer, compared to Marion and AK47, hard worker, good motor, shooting isn’t good but improving. Vonleh would be an option but he’s similar to Favors & Kanter, more of a 4/5. He shot the 3 well in college but not a very high number of shots. Vonleh would be my second choice after Gordon.
At 23, I like Clarkson, he’s a big point, athletic, can play 1or2. We need a big alternative at point.

Meditated StatesParticipantBut Gordon and his versatility, defense would be huge for them. Randle would be a huge steal too. Its very interesting with Embid possibly dropping. I think Rondo would make Embids transition a lot easier. Easy buckets would make him confident early. At 6 with a 17th you can take the shot because you got a insane amount of 1st round picks for the next 5 years. If a great deal is there I make a deal, but patience is a virtue. It wont be long.

Imoon ShoomportParticipantRodney Hood. Love the guy’s shooting stroke, over 40% from three. I think he can step in and be Lamb’s backup at shooting guard, since the Thunder love length and he is definitely oversized for the 2. He can also playing some SF minutes alongside any combination of two of Westbrook-Jackson-Lamb and Durant at the 4.

SnowtaParticipantThe pick depends on the move that happens. If I was GM I would offer GS Love and Martin for Klay/Harrison/Lee. If they do it great otherwise I’d go w/ Boston. In this case w/ 13 I’d either take Payne to eventually take over Lee’s spot or Payton to back up Rubio if he was there.
Rubio/Barea
Klay/Bazz
Harrison/Brewer
Lee/Payne
Dieng/Pek
If the GS deal doesn’t happen trade with Boston and take Randle at 6 and James Young at 13 (I think both these guys would be great with a distributor like Rubio) and Early w/ 17.
Rubio/Barea
Young/Bazz
Brewer/Early
Randle/Turiaf
Pek/Dieng

TripleDoubleScoutParticipantWe gotta get McBuckets first or Stauskas. Although Harris definitely wouldn’t be a bad pick either

WalkaFlockaParticipantPersonally, I’m a huge Boston fan. I’m not too find of the Kevin Love talks tbh because the 3 draft picks were giving up could potentially all become stars. So, here’s what I would do…
Let’s assume the first two picks are Wiggins and Parker. The 76ers then have an interesting dilemma. They’ve been linked to Exum and said to be interested in shopping MCW if they get him, which I doubt to be true. So the 76ers go with Exum.
If I’m the Celtics, at this point I call the Magic and work out a deal for 4. Why it works? The Celtics have lacked a premier center for years. Though the Embiid injuries are alarming, I’m still confident he will be a very very good center. The Magic have said to be fans of Marcus Smart since last year. The Jazz will not draft Smart at 5, so the Magic can still scoop him up at 6 and gain an extra pick in the draft (17).

BA30ParticipantIs the reason the Celtics need to trade up because Utah is taking Embiid? Otherwise they can stand pat and get the player anyway. With the injury risk (and believe me the foot is about as bad or worse than the back – high re-injury risk) not sure many teams will be trading up to get him. If he falls in their laps, sure. Otherwise there are a lot of talented big men in this draft with most notable being Randle and Noah.
