the27guyParticipantDuring a podcast yesterday with David Locke, Chad Ford noted that he felt the Jazz would go with whoever is left between Noah Vonelah and Dante Exum, stating that these two appeared to be the best talents that could be remaing at 5…. with Embiid’s injury, things may have changed.
Assuming that Embiid slides to four, with Exum cracking the top three, the Magic will likely now be faced with a decision between Marcus Smart, Joel Embiid, and Noah Vonelah, instead of between Vonelah and Exum. Assuming the Magic take Vonelah, anticipating taking a point at 12, then both Exum and Vonelah are gone, and the Jazz have to figure out if Embiid is worth the risk.
In other words, as of yesterday the Jazz were likely going to take whoever was left on the board Vonelah, or Exum…. now they may need to ask the question, Embiid, Smart, Gordon, or Randle?
This draft is insane.

BallinmvpParticipantI think they take Gordon or Embiid. Assuming vonleh, exum, wiggins, Parker are gone.
