Lebron and the Cav’s draft.

I happen to think Wiggins in the right pick regardless of what LeBron does.  Embiid certainly doesn’t prohibit anything they’d want to do with LeBron.  In contrast Parker would be a clear signal that they no there’s no chance at LeBron because he simply doesn’t fit.

First the Cavs are not going to resign deng so they have a hole at the 3. Zeller is not good, Varejao can’t stay heathy and is not scaring anybody, and TT has been a disappointment. Embiid had the most potential in this draft, the Cavs need front court talent. Their Defense is porous and embiid can plug up some holes and offensive you can throw the ball down to him and let him go to work.

 Parker is the stretch four with Basketball I.Q. Lebron said shortly after the draft that I.Q. is worth more than talent. Then he said that the Spurs have been so good over the long run because the front office is adept at finding "high I.Q. and energy guys" to put around there talented trio. I think Embiid will have high I.Q. but he doesn’t currently and Parker>Wiggins in that category right now.

Remember Lebron assembled this Heat team and was detrimental in Mike Miller coming aboard also. Parker is a healthy mans Mike Miller and I now think thats his best player comparison. Similar body type, range, handles and defense. Lebron plays best with a team of shooters, he will go where he can find ten of them.
