CavFanPRParticipantWith the offseason looming and teams looking to make roster upgrades, franchises could either use the draft or free agency to add a star to their rosters.
The Charlotte Bobcats have expressed desire to improve their roster by adding another star. One player who might become available is Chris Bosh. His current team has expressed interest in Carmelo Anthony and Bosh makes things difficult, which could mean a trade coming.
Bosh would be a perfect fit next to Al Jefferson. He is still one of the best power forwards in the game and would help that front court with floor spacing, rim protecting and athleticism. He would be a major upgrade over Josh McRoberts, who is a free agent.
A core of Kemba Walker, Chris Bosh and Al Jefferson could propel this team to the next level.

BallinmvpParticipantI’m sorry but no just no. Charlotte has a good young nucleus, they are stacked in the front court, they need sharpshooters and back court help. Getting bosh would not balance out the team.

FutureNBAGMParticipantBosh can become a free agent if he opts out and, either way, I dont see him being a good fit in Charlotte. They already have Cody Zeller and Biyombo there at PF/C anyway.

mrhancocParticipantBiyombo is basically garbage and Cody is still developing, Bosh would make a great fit for the hornets especially since he is shooting the 3 better, but in no way do I ever think Bosh will come to charlotte b/c i see him following Lebron, but what if the hornets can pull off the impossible by bringing in Bosh and Lance Stevenson?
Kemba Walker, Lance Stevenson, Big Al, Bosh and MKG ( or another player from trade or draft)
they would be looking pretty good

FutureNBAGMParticipantThats my point. How long do you expect Zeller to develop for? If Bosh opts out, he’ll probably want at least a 3 year deal and I dont think Zeller would take that long.

mrhancocParticipantwell you have to look on the positive side of things, who better than Bosh can help lead Zeller to that point of development, the hornets lack experience and leadership for young players, its no secret why guys like Lance stevenson, k. leonard, paul george are at the top list of young nba players, it was the guys already there to help push them……aint nobody pushing anyone in charlotte. also Zeller cant play every minute……trade or cut whom every you need to if you can get bosh now if you are charlotte b/c just leaving Zeller to himself is not the answer……..it would be the other way around if he mafe an instant impact likr a first yeartim duncan, elton brand, d.howard or other really good PF or centers but thats not the case

mrhancocParticipantit would take more than the 9 pick to get Bosh, Charlotte needs that 9 pick, but I think they will trade the 24 pick

BigChamp12ParticipantTrade the pick, nah. But If they could convince him to sign their then that would definitely be a great thing. He and Al Jefferson along side each other will be very very good. You have Kemba, Bosh and Jefferson as a formidable Big 3 plus you have valuable trade assets and your draft picks who could be very good players right away. Not saying that this would happen, but if it did, The Hornets would have upgraded without a doubt.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWhy would the Heat want to do this? They are in win now mode, not build with rookies mode.

TyroberParticipantI don’t understand why the HEAT would do this? Are you wanting to make James leave?

tidhoParticipantIt would seem like he OP’s theory is that this would allow them to bring in Melo and another promising young player. If Melo is in the bag provided you have cap room this would be very good value when looking at it big picture.

Jester87ParticipantDo you really think the 9th pick is enough to get Bosh? My God, do people overrate draft prospects.

r377ParticipantThey could possibly trade this pick to the Bucks to get John Henson. A defensive PF next to Al Jeff would be good.
