Sources close to the cabs say they were highly impressed by embiid’s workout. Doesn’t clarify the conflicting Medical Evauation reports.

Sharp ShooterParticipantIf they pass on Embiid..the cavs will just get the number pick again next year.

hbomb3300ParticipantThe Cavs just don’t want teams to feel like they are locked in on Embiid. They are still trying to work out a trade with Philly but I think they want to feel confident the Bucks won’t pick him at 2. If I was the GM I wouldn’t take that chance.

tidhoParticipantIf Embiid is their guy then the GM should be fired for even considering taking that chance.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantNo way in hell m I drafting embiid 1 over all with wiggins and Parker in this draft. Cavs can’t afford to have another number 1 pick to not play next year

morestealsthanscoresParticipantit’s really strange to say that Wiggins is probably the safest bet, but he is. They already have so many scorers- worst case, they get a great wing defender in a position of need. Sure Embiid might be amazing, but if the medical reports don’t check out- don’t risk it. Olawakandi, Oden and Bowie all told me so.

Magic JordanParticipantAnd if the medical reports do check out… you definitely risk it. Anthony Davis, Shaq, Tim Duncan, Olajuwon, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing all told me so.

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantIf the Cavs pass on him, then he won’t last beyond #2 since both Cavs and Bucks have a hole to fill in the middle.
Conclusion: Sixers will go with Wiggins, Parker, or Exum at 3….in that order.

OhCanada-ParticipantIf the Cavs pass on him he slides because he is injury prone and teams dont risk it since Portlands Oden/Roy historical disaster.
