2 years ago he supposedly was in love with Royce White, last year it was Dennis Schroeder and this year it is Aaron Gordon….Ainge you are not fooling anybody…This is what i think Ainge will do:

*First of all Ainge knows that you will NOT get fair value for Rondo (ACL surgery)…Rondo is STAYING

*There is a reason why he has been stock piling 1st round picks..TO USE THEM IN TRADES

*Ainge WILL NOT draft a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds waiting around for them to POTENTIALLY develop

*Some players he will target is Brook Lopez, Josh Smith,Greg Monroe, Gordon Hayward, Omer Asik, Javale Mcgee,  and Aaron Afflalo

*Notice i left out Kevin Love…that Boston trip is another Ainge smokescreen…Love is not a 2 way player and that is what Ainge likes…He wants to build this team with ATHLETIC DEFENSIVE MINDED PLAYERS THAT MOVE THE BALL, DEFEND, REBOUND AND WITH HIGH IQ PLAYERS…

*Brad Stevens has shown in 1 year in the NBA that he has the patience, focus and right philosophy to put a winning team on the court in a relatively short time

*Expectations for this upcoming year is to get a young nucleus and make the playoffs…

*And for the last freakn time RONDO WILL NOT BE TRADED, THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN HE AND STEVENS IS AWESOMEE.STEVENS KNOWS HOW TO MANAGE EGOS AND UNDERSTANDS RONDO AND RONDO HAS ALSO MATURED AND WOULD WELCOME A ROLE OF THIS BEING HIS TEAM…

*I THINK AFTER EVERYTHING IS SAID AND DONE A STARTING FIVE OF

    C BROOK LOPEZ

    PF JARED SULLINGER

    SF JOSH SMITH

    SG AARON AFFLALO

    PG RAJON RONDO

If Celtics are keeping their pick, please dont draft another undersize PF, they got like a basket of them already…

Remember Josh Smith is incredibly talented and athletic and he played HS hoops with Rondo…Stevens will be able to use Smith the right way…he will not be a play maker or a jump shooter but used like a younger Shawn Marion…transition, defense, block shots, deflections, etc.

Ummm…wasn’t Shawn Marion also played at power forward during his prime stretch. I like Smoove, but he should not play SF

Smith fits in well at Boston but as a PF not as a SF. I dont want to watch any basketball game that has Josh Smith starting at SF.

I like how you say ball moving high iq guys and include Omer Asik and Javale Mcgee lol

How are the Celtics going to get Brook Lopez, Josh Smith and Afflalo all in 1 offseason? While keeping Sullinger? That would be impressive though I’d rather keep Green than Sully in that case. That starting 5 would be pretty good and Afflalo Green and Smith can all play good defense.

ray allen was all nba defenseive good just how ainge likes them. You think kelly olynick goes first round to boston if he wasnt a shutdown defender. Love has no place in boston.

Ray Allen in his prime with Boston actually did play very good defense and was a very smart player and underated passer..so yes

I still think Boston should take a guard at #6 since Rondo only has 1 year left and Bradley could bolt this summer. Exum or Smart would both be great choices.

Was a terrible GM until McHale delivered him Garnet.  He traded a top ten pick for Sebastian Telair.  He has the picks and it should be interesting how he uses them.

Ainge is a very good GM.  Has he made mistakes?  Oh yea, but every GM does.  I feel that Danny is a much better GM today then when he first started.  You’re going to know how good of a GM Danny is in the next 2-4 years. Also look at the Suns GM, he came from Boston’s front office and was trained by Danny, look at what he’s done in one year on the Job.
