So I "Like" Steve Nash on Facebook, and his page (which he runs) just posted "There’s only one place in the world to be right now…" with a picture of………….
the Brazil-Croatia match at the soccer World Cup in Brazil. I guess Steve Nash, current Lakers player, has come to terms with the fact that he will never win the NBA title and so being in the Finals no longer appeals to him?

Regardless, I love Steve Nash, I respect his passion for soccer, and I wish he was able to go out of the league with more of a bang…and a title.

  lol nah, I just thought it was funny Nash said "there’s only one place in the world to be right now" smack dab in the middle of the NBA Finals, which his Lakers are nowehere near. I’m afraid I made it look like I ACTUALLY believe there’s something behind this beyond pure irony

        Specifically, it’s situational irony. If everyone else knew NBA playoffs were going and he didn’t, it could be considered dramatic irony.
