I want Julius to prove he has to be top5 pick but so far since the cmobine I have heard absolutely nothing about him.

Even top guys Embiid Parker Wiggins had their own combines and workout videos

2nd tier guys Gordon Vonleh Smart has already worked out for multiple teams in 4-8 range..

WHat’s the deal with Julius Randle, anyone heard something?

Good q, I know he was scheduled to workout with the Bucks. I even googled and unable to find anything. I wonder if he has a promise (Orlando?) And has shutdown workouts. I only guess Orlando because it’s feasible that he knows he won’t get picked over the big 3, therefore Orlando at 4 is the best spot for him.

I don’t care where he goes as long as he doesn’t go to the Jazz.

Something like 10/32 and Cash for the Lakers or Kings pick (Lakers add more talent and cap space to slide a few spots)

I think Orlando would be a perfect fit for him but I know they will over think the situation and select Dante Exum instead of waiting until 12 to find a PG (Smart/Payton/Ennis)

If he falls past the Magic though, the Jazz dont really need a bruiser, the Celtics have Sullinger and a slew of Forwards in place, The Lakers need the talent but are rumored to want as many assets as they can

Its interesting.  Maybe he is trying to steer himself somewhere (Lakers?) by laying low.

More likely they’re just waiting.  While there has been a lot of talk it doesn’t seem like there have been a ton of actual team visits yet.

Can’t post a link here, but Randle is scheduled for workout for Orl, Phi and Bos this week and Lakers on the June 17th. said he had shed 20 pounds of weight to allow himself to play more perimeter game at the next level.

Google this and you will find the article:

Julius Randle has a great combination of UPSIDE with a decent floor.  And, unlike Parker, he knows he is a power forward.  He has a position.  Aaron Gordon may have more upside as an athlete but what is his position?

We talk about him being an "athletic Z Bo" but that could turn out to be the best guy in this draft.

I think he would be a great pick outside the top 5.

Randle is the only guy in this draft who could post something like 15 and 9 every night and be considered a "slight disappointment".

The league might have more small ball now, but you still need an inside guy.  In the Finals, LeBron, Bosh, Rashard Lewis, Duncan, and Boris Diaw have all spent time at power forward.  We’ve seen a lot of production out of the four spot, with tons of offense being run through LeBron for the Heat and Duncan/Diaw for the Spurs.  The Heat won when Lewis and Bosh were dialed in from deep.  When they weren’t the Spurs coasted/pulled away late for victories.

You can either google "Julius Randle Hoopshype Rumors" or just go to hoopshype and enter Julius Randle into their search. Doing so will tell you that he is scheduled to workout for Orlando.

oh yeah now I found it, thanks guys..

I would like to see that ‘240lbs light, quick cat, not than much worse athlete than Gordon’ Julius back again..

yes he was super strong this year but with his motor and ability to use that body I think that ligther Randle still would bang inside as well as ever, and bein quicker would make his mismatch potential facing up against slower bigs even higher..

just hope he won’t fall in love with perimeter game too much..but I don’t think he will, he was ball handler jump-shooter in HS with all that freedom and he still got a lot of those rebounds and banged like a man
