He shoots very well from outside like Barbosa from Phoenix. He has a 6ft10 wingspan on a 6ft2 frame. How good is he? Does a team take him in the 1st round?

Portland likes international players and they have a need at the point guard position.

I have Portland taking Beaubois in my Mock.

If Jonas isn’t taken in the 1st round Beaubois will be.

I dont know a lot about Beaubois or most the international players, but I here that he reminds a lot of people of Rajon Rondo. If he does have a solid shooting touch and uses his great wingspan to play lockdown defense he could very well sneak into the first round….especially if a team is willing to take a gamble on a solid European prospect that could stay in Europe for 1-3 more years to really develop certain parts of his game. Not to mention he would probably be cheaper.

he’s first round on potential and upside, but not in terms of skill, basketball iq or strength. in other words, he needs to stay in Europe for a few years to develop. He is pretty much Rondo with a jumpshot, which makes him a very intruiging prospect. I would hope if he was still around the Wizards could snag him in the second round.

Fisher is getting old and Farmar hasnt proven he can be a permanent starter. It sounds like Portland is looking at Claver at #24, so I see the Lakers taking him at #29 and letting him play oversees for a year or two then come over as Fish’s eventual replacement.

If the Lakers grab that kid. They might have a couple more rings once Kobe gets in his head.

I wouldnt mind him playing for the 76ers at all, him or Patty Mills. He is a 1st round talent but he may be too raw. He has the physical tools to be a top 3 defender at the pg position

Portland & LA are the two most likely landing spots for him at the end of the first round.
