Jayhawks2011ParticipantTexas should pose a threat to KU’s 11th straight conference title. They are going to be long inside. Ridley and Turner should compliment eachother very well. Also, if you did not see their PG, Isiah Taylor play this year you better next year. They will be tough.
Kansas-Texas should be great battles inside with Ellis vs Turner and Alexander vs Ridley.

HitsterParticipantGood choice, could have gone to perhaps higher profile teams but Rick Barnes is a highly respected NCAA coach and has taken Texas to the NCAA finals in all but one of his 15 years at Texas.

Kevin6CDParticipanthis run of 14 trips to the NCAA Finals in 14 of the last 15 years is one of the more impressive imaginary accomplishments I can remember in my lifetime.

Robb_CParticipantIve kinda figured this would be where he would go.. the Flex System is made for guys like Myles Turner, Texas will be one of the teams to watch for this year.

tuck243ParticipantTexas has underachieved for years. Hopefully Barnes can get these boys far… I think he’s one of the most overrated coaches out there… He constantly allows top talent in Texas to go elsewhere. Makes 0 sense to me…

Robb_CParticipantit makes no sense to you because you dont know anything about the X’s and O’s of the game… Texas will make him the most NBA ready just for the simple fact that whoever drafts Turner will be running the same offense that Barnes runs out in Austin.. Turner picked Texas for the fact he was confident they would make him the most nba ready

MrManalo43Participantbut the only team i can think of in Illinois is Illinois University… and they aren’t exactly the most appealing college basketball program to choose from…

Land of GrantParticipantYeah apparently scouts weren’t particularly impressed by him in the All-Star circuit. According to one guy quoted on ESPN, he "didn’t move as well as expected".
Think this makes Texas a top-10 team. Really great big rotation. Prince Ibeh, Cameron Ridley, Jonathan Holmes, and now Turner, with Isaiah Turner, Javan Felix, and others on the perimeter.
