Let me know what you guys think. I know PJ might be a reach, but I think his stock will shoot up at the combine. I like the pairing of Parker and PJ too. Take a flyer on Sim maybe he can give 15-20 mins as a rim protector with Noel coming from the weakside.

The 76ers would be smart to draft Parker, because MCW, Zach LaVine, and Andrew Wiggins would present a lot of half-court offense problems. I agree with the 2nd rounders, but fully expect them to trade a few of them. I would like to see Thanasis Antetokounmpo on the team. He has played well on the Deleware D-League team. I expect the 76ers back in the lottery next year, without Thadeus Young, drafting a big man. Okafor or Turner would be nice additions. (Nerlens Noel can move to PF if needed). Or Cliff Alexander would be great too.

PhillytheKidAlexander doesn’t excite me at all. He’s 6’8” or 6’9” with no power moves.
Okafor is all about winning and has very good footwork. He would be a nice guy to pair up next to Noel. Turner would make them the softest front court in the history of the NBA but I would be curious about that athleticism.

What if the 76ers traded Thadeus Young, Tony Wroten, and the 47, 52, and 54 picks to the Raptors for Grevius Vasquez, Tyler Hansbough, John Salmons and the 20th pick. The Raptors finally get a legitimate power forward (or small forward depending how they would use him) who was in the top 5 in steals per game. They would also get an athletic guard who could potentially be a starting point guard, if Kyle Lowry leaves in free agency. The 76ers, on the other hand get a smart leader in Grevius Vasquez. He could teach MCW how to play the point efficiently. They also get a smart, yet streaky shooter in John Salmons. He won’t hurt their chances of losing games for the draft next year, and could help smooth the transition for Parker. In Tyler they get a hustle player who can help teach Nerlens Noel to play big, without helping the team too much.

He has not shown anything to make me think he will be a starting PG, let alone a starting PG on a good team. The Raptors will not trade Vasquez away: he is one reason why they don’t have to overpay for Lowry, keeping his price down, and provides a nice plan B may they not be able to re-sign Lowry.

i don’t like Alexander as a potential top 3 pick next year at all. I don’t mind McGary in the 2nd round bro…there’s a difference there by where you have to take the player.

I think Mithc makes a ton of sense for them in the second. He should be ready to go as the 3rd or 4th big on that team and you need the big body type next to Noel.

My idea in getting veterans for the bench is to teach the very young players. A veteran point guard would be good for the 76ers. You can see what Andre Miller did for both Ty Lawson and John Wall, both are close to elite players because of him. I agree with the assessment of Ujuri not wanting to trade his pick. I still think that if the 76ers make Young available to the Raptors, they will pounce on it. He could lead the team to elite levels.
