     To avoid confusion, even though it says it in the post as well, I used tankathon.com’s lottery generator to set the draft order.

      And ran with it. Just so happened that it ended with Detroit picking 3rd. Which I stated, so you’re either stupid or lazy. Either way.

      Idk, possibly because the odds are set and that’s how it happens in real life. The odds that the lottery picks go in the order they’re in now are really low. So doing it in the set order is a futile exercise too.

     I don’t know what’s lamer.  That you have the Jazz picking 6th, that you have them picking Kyle Anderson, or that you say the Jazz have no needs so they should trade down.

    No.  The Jazz have no stars on their roster, only young role-players, and so they have a need at every position.  The Jazz will be looking to trade up if anything, if they don’t land in the top 4.

      I made sure I had the Jazz falling in the draft order.  Sat down and thought to myself "How am I going to piss off this random person on a message board?" and then it hit me.  I can drop your favorite team in the draft order of my mock draft.  So I did it, and I didn’t look back, and it worked.  It made you mad! Hope I ruined your day by doing things differently.

    I don’t mind the lottery generator, but I wish the Wolves would take Gary Harris if he’s still on the board. Our main problem is our lack of two-way players, and Harris seems like a guy with offense-defense potential. plus one for the effort though.

    Exum over Embid?  If Detroit got that, they would take Embid and shop him.  He is too highly regarded to fall out of the top 3.  

    Hood won’t fall that far.  His workouts will raise his stock.

    Not to nitpick.  McAdoo may go undrafted, and may not even be an NBA player.  But I doubt you have seen pics of him if you think he needs to bulk up more…

        I’m sorry that I wasn’t nicer in my response.  I should have just politely pointed out that your Jazz perspective is way off, so that you can factor it in for your next mock.  It seemed like you were trying to justify the Jazz picking 6th by making up a reason that they might trade down.

        Maybe do one where your favorite team doesn’t make an unlikely jump into the top 3?  It would give you more credibility.

          after I ran the simulation and the Pistons came up 3rd, I should have run another?  What’s the point then?  Go to tankathon.com and click the "Sim Lottery" button.  Some times it comes up favorable, others it doesn’t.  I was going to go with the first one I ran whether it came up Detroit picking 1st or losing it to Charlotte.  I shouldn’t have to run it until Detroit picks 8th or loses their pick because you don’t have enough important things to worry about.
