slash787ParticipantWhen given the minutes this guy looks like he can play. What are your thoughts on him going into next season?

AdamJCallejaParticipantYes sir I always loved Pressey at Mizzou. Dude is the epitome of a floor general. He is a very capable shooter now and a pretty pesky defender due to his low center of gravity and lateral quickness. I don’t think he will ever be a starter but I think he’ll stay in the league as a solid backup for an average team.

Land of GrantParticipantSeems like a poor man’s Rondo. Very poor man’s, but a guy who can come in in spots and run the offense in a similar fashion.

HoosierHoopsParticipantD.J Augustin is an undersized scoring guard with AT BEST average basketball IQ.
Pressey is one of those "pure" point guards with unreal passing ability and a high basketball IQ. I think he’s gonna be the type of guy people thought Kendall Marshall would be after he got drafted by the Suns.
your comparison is pretty bad, though

Bostoncelticsforlife9ParticipantIm really enjoying watching him play when rondo’s out, Im definetly not saying that hes better than rondo but when pressey is starting the C’s are 6-4 thats pretty good for an undrafted rookie. I also love presseys assist to turnover ratio he does a great job not commiting turnovers, and did you see phil’s putback jam yesterday? I was not expecting that!

JoeWolf1He’s played pretty well as of late. I really doubt he’ll ever be much of a scorer, or gain much efficiency on his jumper, but he’s lightning quick, is a very good passer and is a pesky defender in the passing lanes due to his speed and quick hands.
I think he’ll have a long career as a backup PG, and maybe he could start for a lotto bound team as he continues to adjust to the NBA. As far as comparisons go, I’d say Brevin Knight is the player I think is most like him.

slash787ParticipantI like that comparison. Pressey has some hops as well. He can get up and I can actually see him as a random player in a dunk contest based on his nice put back in the link.
