Skeating12345ParticipantI am really excited to see he and Kasey Hill starting for the Gators next year. Hill really impressed me with his passing and vision this year. I think Walker will be a beast this next year. Great size at around 6’10 and has freakish athleticism. Though the gators are losing Wilbiken, I think they can have an even better team next year. They are still going to have a true PG in Hill, a knockdown shooter in Michael Frazier, Dorian Finney-Smith, and then Walker. They are also bringing in 3 four star recruits in Brandone Francis, Devin Robinson, and Chris Chiozza. I am really excited to watch the Gators next year!

jaysmith1987ParticipantI am suprised Walker didn’t just go to the Dleague last year instead of sit out. The guy made a really good decision by coming back because playing five minutes a game would have gotten him a second round to undrafted pick. I feel like by playing him 5 min a game Billy Donovan just ensured he was coming back I think that was the plan with him.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantGreat decision by him that could pay off not only from a basketball sense but also financially. Probably would’ve been a late first rounder at best this year, could be a top 10 pick next year.

Memphis MadnessParticipantChris Chiozza is good. I see some Scotty Wilbiken in him. Should be a great option as a backup point guard who could also start here and there. He might be a bit on the small side, hopefully he adds some more muscle.
Oh, should Florida be preseason number 1?

HaleParticipantI can’t imagine he would’ve entered playing under 5 mpg last season. Duke, Arizona, Wisconsin (unless both Kaminsky and Dekker leave) and I’m sure I’m missing others should be ranked ahead of Florida to start the season. SMU and U-conn (with Daniels) are going to be really dangerous next year too.

Lotto StudParticipantI’m quite sure he can play himself into becoming a Top 5-10 guy next year. Yes I absolutely think this highly of him and will stand by my words.

OhCanada-ParticipantWalker has NBA role player written all over him. He should thrive in similar role as Amir Johnson. High percentage shots layups and dunks off of P&Rs, midrange Js off of P&Ps, plenty of garbage baskets, and doing the dirty work; putbacks, grabbing loose balls, taking charges, protecting the basket.
I think Kasey Hill is alot like Ennis and probally would be 1a 1b with Ennis this year but Billy Donovan stays true to his word and gives his seniors the oppurtunity they deserve.

HoopLandParticipantI’m sure he’ll be okay with that role. I think players now days are just looking for the pay check and status of a being a NBA players. No one really cares about being the best anymore.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantI don’t think Flordia will be quite as good as this year as they’re losing Patric Young, Casey Prather, Wilbekin and Will Yeguete, thats a 4 guys who played 20 minutes +, 3 starters and a lot of veteran leadership they’re losing. I’m a big fan of Kasey Hill and I think he can fill the void Wilbekin will leave, but I’m not sure if Walker can provide the same physicality and toughness on the interior that Patric Young did. He has the similar athletic ability but he is muuuuuch skinnier then Young, who is a physical specimen. If he really hits the weights he could definitely bandaid the lose though.

MopgrassParticipantI think he’ll be a top 5 pick, but he’s going to turn the ball over a lot on drives because he ‘a a but wreck less and plows forward without thinking (Julius Randle style). If he can adjust, dribble lower, and play team ball, there’s a lot he can do.

imAboutDatActionParticipanthe’s freak athlete, thats for sure. whenever you defeat Wiggins and Gordon in a dunk contest, you KNOW this kid is athletically gifted.
he along with Kasey Hill is a great combo. Hill should feed him great easy looks if they put the time in the gym to develop chemistry.
he needs to add about 5-7 more pounds.nothing crazy since he needs to keep his agility and lateral movement, but needs abit more pounds to bang and finish downlow.

theballerwayParticipantIts all about what kind of work he puts in over the summer. He sat out a large portion of the season so in many senses hes still going to be quite inexperienced. however he was around good leaders so he should have been able to see what it takes to be successful at ncaa level. High hopes for sure.

Lotto StudParticipantMy initial comparison for Walker is Amir Johnson, but in the game against UCLA he really showed my flashes of Amar’e Stoudemire in Phoenix.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantHeadline: Man who played 87 minutes this year does not enter NBA Draft!
I know it was not his fault the NCAA has selective investigations to uncover the pettiest offenses of its own rules, but returning was not much of a choice.
