The8thDeadlySinParticipantHere is what i have learned over the past 7 years:
People dont watch these guys play all year. Even though they act like it, lots of posters here dont watch. They look at box scores and try to make a judgement. It is very frustrating for me because i watch games all the time. I watch the top rated players all the time. Then i have to hear these idiots repeat scouting reports that are dated. Im sick of hearing people act like they know what they are talkig about.
Its very obvious that nobody had watched Cleanthony early until he played KY. When he looked like he had all year, everyone freaked out. If you had seen him play, you would know that he didnt do much special. Same thing with Kyle Anderson. He didnt do anything magical but now people are actually watching him play instead of looking at box scores..
This is not everyone. I can tell who knows what theyre talking about. I’m not listing names but you know who you are. Its very obvious..
Next season, instead of regurgitating BS that you hear from announcers or SC employees, watch the games for yourself. Dont just see a box score and burp up an opinion. We are here to talk smart basketball. Not look like asses…

Chilbert arenasParticipantThe best team doesn’t always win it all. Happy for UConn, don’t get me wrong, but no one thought they were the best team in the country at any point this year.

nick5354ParticipantRelax. It is hard to watch so much college basketball in order to fill your expectations.
For most people on this site talking basketball and discusing up and coming players is a hobby. We are not pros who seek to be the best scouters of talent and basketball analysis. It is a hobby man (well for most) so don’t be to serious. I try and watch as much basketball as I can (time zones in Australia make it a bitch)

theprophetParticipanti don’t watch every game. it’s impossible to watch every nba game and every ncaa game. i don’t watch every highlight show. i don’t watch every debate show. i don’t listen to every sports radio. it’s impossible. i have seen my fair share of games, and like to hear different perspectives of news and come up with my own conclusions based off of what i see and in some cases am enlightened from a collective perspective of other experts professionally, or great basketball minds on this site. yup-this site is full of basketball minds. box scores are good to look at, but don’t tell the entire story. i think more people on this site watch games than you think. it’s all in fun, take a chill pill dude.

ballislyfe25ParticipantEach year there are always a few teams who are seeded too high or too low without justification. Wichita State was really a great story and deserve a ton of credit for finshing the regular season undefeated, but I’d say many people didn’t watch them (and Early) because they didn’t really play any competition during the regular season. They were well coached and impressive on both ends of the floor, but their schedule was undeniably weak. I would like to see teams who play tough schedules get rewarded come Selection Sunday. Baylor was a six seed, and their strength of schedule was much significantly tougher than that of the Shockers. In a vacuum, Wichita deserves 1 seed. In reality, there strength of schedule should have prevented them from receiving that seed. I am new to this site and am not aware if this has already been debated and discussed; does anybody share this same sentiment?
