DP2005ParticipantThis class hasn’t really been all that impressive. The top ranked Okafor will be a good college player because of his size but NBA potential… I just don’t see it. This class has depth but I don’t see a lot of star power if any. I like next years class with Newman and Rabb. 2015 has some serious potential along with 2016 in Josh Jackson. Fairly disappointed this year.

Chilbert arenasParticipantDon’t see many one-and-done. Two to four at most. Might reduce tanking next year?

DP2005ParticipantMaybe. I don’t think any should go one and done. If any it would have to be Myles Turner just based on his potential. Okafor will have problems finishing over more athletic guys than him. He reminds me of a taller Jared Sullinger. I don’t think he will be anything special in the league

ChewyParticipantOkafor- Won MVP and didn’t even have a good game by his standards.
Mudiay- I expected him to put his head down and drive to the hole all game long, but he didn’t. He made a lot of impressive passes out of his drives to open guys. I won;t say he is a PG yet, but he clearly is already a combo guard. His shot looks very broken.
Jackson- Quietest 23 points in a MDAA game I’ve ever seen. He didn’t force anything. I can see him filling in a role like Tokoto, but with better spot up jumpshot.
Tyus Jones- reminds me of a 5’10 Ennis. He never looks out of control/ uncomfortable/ rushed reguardless of what the defense does. Love that he has 0 points and 9 assists in the game when he made that lay up in the last 2 minutes. Has a PG mentality, but is willing to take the big shots at the end of the game.
Allen- I never saw him change his facial expression even once during the night. He is the Kristen Stewart of basketball! But seriously he is not just a shooter. There were 2 possessions where he had the chance to take a slightly contested kick out 3 and he choose to drive instead.
Oubre- Could average 5 points a game just from free throws with his agressiveness and FT shooting. He outside shooting needs work.
Ulis- I hope the Harrison twins are gone because this kid is fun to watch.

cargathusParticipantI was honestly only impressed with Tyus Jones and Tyler Ulis.
Ulis more so because he was pretty flashy and fun to watch, but honestly hes so ridiculously small I don’t even know how he will play at the college level since he has a pretty set shot and although hes athletic, he didn’t seem to have elite level athleticism that many kids his size have.
Tyus Jones on the otherhand was very much in control the entire game and made play after play for his team. I love your Ennis comparison. Very much agree on that.
Both PGs were impressive though on how well they were controlling the tempo of the game.

PhillytheKidLacks some athleticism, but he’s a grown man. He is a great passer and a very good defender.
If he went to SMU he’s incredibly intelligent to get paired up with Larry Brown. He will learn how to "play the right way"

TRC1991ParticipantMudiay struck me as a very good athlete…^
I thought Stanley Johnson was excellent too…Rashad Vaughn had a nice game also
James Blackmon is one of the most selfish players I’ve seen in a Mickey D’s game…He shot the ball every time he touched it seemingly

druneave3ParticipantMudiay, Stanley Johnson, Turner, and Oubre are all top prospects in my mind. I am really high on these 4 guys. Sure most will disagree but I would take those 4 over Wiggins, Embiid, Parker, and Randle. You also have some interesting bigs in Towns, Alexander, Looney, Lyles, and of course, Okafor (not a huge fan). There are a couple of nice off guards who can really shoot/score in Russell, Booker, and Vaughn. Grayson Allen is drawing comparisons to JJ Reddick in terms of shooting stroke. There are also a number of solid point guards.

MalcolmxParticipantYou are right about that. He is a jordan brand all american this year. Has a top 5-7 ceiling in this class in my opinion.

Magic JordanParticipantI know it was a pick up game but the way Oubre was playing really rubbed me the wrong way. He was the most selfish in a selfish game. Constantly hounding and chasing around the point guard to get the ball like it was his own high school team. Taking bad shots. Giving no thought to spacing the floor as he was following around the PGs. A few times I saw him 5 feet from the ball handler just begging for it when the ball handler had no incentive to give it to him. They shook him off a few times luckily.
I like his athletic ability and I don’t mind him wanting the ball. It was just a little annoying to watch. He was also EXCEPTIONAL at following his shot. By that I was extremely surprised.
