Phyically he is gifted at 6’10.5 with long arms a frame that can end up being chiseled given his proportion and weight right now. Athletically he is very explosive high leaper and all around quickness. Brings a lot of defensive potential protecting the rim as a shot blocker and pick/roll being able to defend guards on the perimeter.

Offensively he is doesn’t bring anything right now other then put back clean up plays and transition dunks. He is a better prospect then Bismack Biyombo being a little taller and more athletic at this age. I don’t see why he can’t end up being Serge Ibaka type of player down the line given time.

Personally I would put him above Gordon and Harrell because I doubt Gordon will be physical enough to dominate as a starting PF, I see him more as a Derrick Williams/Dante Cunningham type of combo forward. Harrell is limted talented wise and is not that tall. Vonley is a combination of skills and size which is really intriguing. Capela is 6-10, has a 7-3 wingpspan and is really athletic. He’s not been coached that well so he still has to improve his handle, post moves and strength but he coule be very interesting as PF/C with length and athleticism.

I’m not sure where I would rank him amonst the bigs. He is just a straight up potential guy for me a lot of it. That I want my team the Celtics to take a chance on with their second pick. I don’t want them to pick a so so or good player that would be better suited on a good team not a bad one. Like Avery Bradly would be a very good starter for a lot of teams. Hopefully, that made sense.

Because I know the Celtics want a big man that can protect the rim. I thought about WCS, but he plays without any aggression or desire that I want them to stay clear from him.

capela is the most athletic PF in the draft (and that’s a lot to say with gordon, harrel or randle), plus he is 6’10 without shoes and 19 years old.. by the time he is 22-23 he’s gonna be a beast…he should be a top 20.
