qDizzle32ParticipantHas looked great so far this first half. Didn’t understand why he only played one minute after WCS went down the last game. I’ve been a big fan of his game since his high school days and could understand how he struggled to get minutes this year although he probably did deserve to play a just little more.
To be honest, as a UK fan myself, I was never a real big fan of Willie Cauley-Stein. He’s extremely athletic but so uncoordinated at the same time. It’s a unique situation choosing Kentucky because there’s not many programs where one could be a MDAA bound player and never be able to start for that program (a la Kyle Wiltjer). With them getting Towns and Lyles coming in, I’m expecting Lee to stay and Dakari’s status remains very questionable at this point. If Dakari stays, he will be getting limited minutes in a loaded frontcourt with Towns, Lyles and Lee. If he declares, he will just be a 2nd rounder and riding the bench in the NBA next year. The best option for him would be to transfer but the majority of players aren’t patient enough to transfer and sit out a whole year when their not that far from making the league. But Marcus Lee would be an excellent sixth man for Kentucky next year and could still be a 1st rounder without starting.

doubledribblerParticipantLee has been very active. I’m not going to say great because what he is doing is getting uncontested putbacks, but he is being very productive and this would be a different game without him. So credit for him putting himself in the right place at the right time and finishing.
As for WCS, he has been a huge part of this team. He is not a perfect player by any stretch, but he puts out a lot of effort and always seems to make something happen defensively. He is weirdly uncoordinated to a degree, but he makes things happen. He came up with a lot of game changing plays in the first game of the tournament for them. It’s not all about scoring and sometimes it’s not all about stats, but at this level he is a nice player to have. I just wish someone would really get it in his head to be more patient. He is always looking for the block defensively.

M-EazyParticipantLee looked so explosive yesterday. Makes me question what his draft stock would be had he made the decision to go to another school that wasn’t this loaded.
