Stokes has been playing like a man possessed during the tourney averaging 20 points 15 rebounds and 2 assists per game throughout three games in the tourney. Even though he’s a junior, he’s only 20. Does he have a future in the NBA? What’s his floor? His ceiling?

Reminds me of Jared Sullinger. Love Stokes.

I’ve got Tennessee over Michigan. Stokes and Maymom are going to dump all over Michigan down low.

The kid is a monster and if he were two inches taller, we would be talking about him being a lottery pick. I think he can definitely make it in the league.

He has a bright future but Jared comparison I don’t see rebounds yes but as far as post game Jared was the best post player I ever seen in college but really didn’t translate to the NBA I say Reggie Evans better offensive game for stokes

Michigan is going to make it an uptempo game and tire out Tennessee who has no depth. They will probably also hit 10-15 three pointers. Stokes is solid though and Tennessee has a bright future w/ Martin.

Well, both teams play at a slow tempo and lack depth…but we shall see. Check out KenPom.com.

I have followed his career since he was a jr. in high school…His overall game havent developed as much as many expected..But he’s a man inside the paint,1 of the best rebounders in the nation….He uses his strength and wide frame to push people around..His height isnt much of a concern becuz he has a 7 feet wingspan and is a better athlete then people think..The concern at the next level will be his defense & perimeter shooting …

He will find a spot in the league as a rptation player, becuz he’s an outstanding rebounder …..When he gets to the combine he’s going to have to prove he can hit those 10 foot shots,if he does that he could slip into the late 1st round or early 2nd round..If he doesnt, he’ll go late 2nd or undrafted….

Yes, please. Very underrated player, plays with high motor, younger than his class. Hope he makes it to the league.

I’m a big fan of Stokes, and have been for a couple years now. He doesn’t have much length or explosiveness, but he’s strong and powerful on the glass with a nice touch around the basket. I see no reason why he can’t have a solid career in the league, lets not forget that Z-Bo fell to the 19th pick in his draft.

Interestingly enough his stats are very similar (and just a notch better in almost every category) to Julius Randle.

    Stokes: 15.2 RPG, 10.7 RPG, 2.1 APG, 0.9 BPG, 0.6 SPG, 2.0 PF, 2.1 TO, 53.4 FG%, 69.7 FT%
    Randle: 15.1 PPG, 10.6 RPG, 1.4 APG, 0.8 BPG, 0.5 SPG, 2.4 PF, 2.6 TO, 50.3 FG%, 70.5 FT%

While it’s true that Randle is a freshman and Stokes is a junior, keep in mind that Stokes is just 10 months older than Randle.

He’s a strong dude who plays with good leverage and he’s a real good rebounder, he’s just short and not very athletic. I think he can be a pro, but he’ll always be limited by his height and athletic ability.

He’s playing great and is a very productive college big, but he has some glaring weaknesses as a prospect.

Idk dudes, he’s 6’9 in shoes with a 7’1 wing span. That’s plenty big for PF and could even play some C. I think it’ll be interesting to see how he tests out.

But I’d take him in the 2nd round without question.
