DolanCareParticipantHe is playing with serious determination right now. The Friars have recruited the likes of Ledo, Gardner and Dunn. None of those guys stuck. Meanwhile, Bryce has solidified himself as a Friar legend. I had no idea he could shoot this well, definitely looks like a pro tonight.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantHe looks unstoppable tonight. My Heels are pretty much getting beaten single-handedly by him. Mad props, I don’t really know enough about him to make a call about pro prospects, but the way he’s playing tonight he looks like he could be a Mo Williams/Eddie House instant offense off the bench kind of guy you could get in the 2nd round.

DolanCareParticipantGod forbid one of the Providence bigs pulls down a board. Bryce can’t do everything.

Chilbert arenasParticipantBummed Providence ended up losing but happy to see Cotton getting some national recognition, proud of a fellow AZ native.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantBreaks my heart Providence lost. I had them in the Elite 8.
Here’s what I wrote about PC in the other thread:
Regarding Providence, Bryce Cotton is one of the toughest men God ever manufactured. A true scorer and facilitator. A veritable X-factor who can take over a game. A main reason Providence beat Creighton TWICE this year. They have two guys who crash the glass and major size in their front court. Only issue would really be their lack of depth. Providence is dead last in the country in bench minutes.
I’m 1-6 in games decided by 3 points or less/games that have gone into OT.
🙁

Dale WorthingtonParticipantWow, I missed most of the game, but Providence really got tickled on the defensive glass. UNC had more O rebounds than Providence had D rebounds.
Ouchies!
Also, PC only had 2 points off their bench.

TarHeelRavenParticipantNobody on Carolina could check Cotton tonight. He had it all going, step-backs, threes, drives, runners, he was unstoppable. What a stud. It brought back memories of Harold Arcineaux of Weber State in the mid-90’s, I don’t remember what year it was, but he single-handedly beat UNC with a ridiculous performance. Carolina pulled out the victory with some clutch free throws by Mcadoo but win or lose I would’ve wanted to shake Cotton’s hand and congratulate him on carving us up.
