Im watching this Clippers game and as i look at their roster, im kinda shocked at how deep they are.

I mean they have 3 "starters" out and you cant tell.  Reddick, Crawford, and Dudly are all in suits.  Check out this roster:

Chris Paul, Danny Granger, Matt Barnes, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, Daren Collison, Reggie Bullok, Hedo Turkolu, Ryan Hollins, Glenn Davis, Willie Green, JJ Reddick, Jamal Crawford, Jared Dudly.

Only 2 guys in this team haven’t been starters (Hollins/Bullok) for pretty good teams.

Paul, Granger, Griffin, and Crawford have been the best player on a team at some point.  Hedo, Davis, Jordan, and Collison have all been the second best players on their teams at some point.

Im just amazed by their depth.  Only team i can see being as deep could be the Pacers but i feel like they arent as deep.

Best bench in the NBA for quite some time now. Id rather have a bench with great team chemistry than a bench with great talent that cant get along.

Exactly….The Spurs bench is 1st in scoring and 1st in offensive and defensive efficency. The Clippers probably have more talent on their bench but they are 18th in scoring, 23rd in offensive efficency and 24th in defensive efficency. Now the stats don’t tell the whole truth or you could say the Bucks have one of the best benches in the league.

They don’t have a true scrub on their roster. Willie Green started majority of the games last year and Bullock has contributed when given minutes.

I watch every Clipper game and still somehow forget they have Hedo. He doesn’t score much, but he also doesn’t look for his shot and sets up others.

I agree the Clippers are one of if not the deepest team but what team was DeAndre Jordan the 2nd best player on?

Nice offense from the bench, not overlyn enthousiastic about their D from the bench though: Granger, Collison, Turkoglu, Green, Crawford are good on offensive, not so on defense (considering Paul, Reddick, Barnes, Griffin and Jordan start).

if the nuggets were ever healthy, i think they would’ve contended for best bench.

starters: lawson, foye, gallo, faried, mcgee

bench: brooks, nate rob, fournier, chandler, arthur, hickson, mosgov

potential guys: quincy miller, anthony randolph, jan vesely

This dude gets beat up quite a bit and mostly for good reason, but time to give him some props for bringing in Doc Rivers and Gary Sacks (GM).

Granger and Hedo are solid veterans but have seen better days.

Prime Big Baby would really help them out, but I don’t know where he is at right now.

The Grizzlies have a very solid, deep bench, especially on the defensive end.  We have Tony Allen and James Johnson on the wings, a 6’4 Nick Calathes at point guard with Kosta Koufos and Ed Davis inside.  That team might not score any points, but the bench wouldn’t either.  We don’t have a TRUE sixth man, but Mike Miller has been shooting really well recently.  We added Beno Udrih for point guard depth with Jon Leuer rounding out the team as a offensively-talented forward.

For my money, I will take a GREAT starting five like the Heat with Chalmers, Wade, LeBron, Bosh, and Birdman.  I just don’t see how another team stops them 4 times out of 7 games.  Very good sixth man in Ray Allen, with some solid vets up front in Shane Battier, Udonis Haslem, and Greg Oden.  Norris Cole is a decent backup point guard too.  Maybe not the most raw talent off the bench, but a really really good sixth man in Ray Allen along with some gritty guys who know what they have to do.  A great starting unit with a good PLAYOFF BENCH (veteran leadership and savvy, shooting, rebounding, and defense).

The Clippers have the best bench ON PAPER but you might want to take a look at the Heat’s bench and the Grizzlies’ bench for the playoffs.

The Thunder have a pretty solid bench too: Reggie Jackson can score, Jeremy Lamb is pretty good, Nick Collison does his job, and Steven Adams is a young big man who might be (probably is) better than Kendrick Perkins.  Derek Fisher has lots of championship experience and the newly acquired Caron Butler should give them toughness and 3 point shooting.  Their bench is built a little like the Heat’s bench with a true sixth man in Reggie Jackson, some length, some veterans, and a few extra bigs inside (with Nick Collison being the best of the bunch).  ON PAPER, Caron Butler should help, but we will see what happens.
