There a lot of players so far this season who have been playing outstanding and putting up Superior numbers across the board. At the end of the season, there will surely be a few deserving players left off the ALL NBA Teams.

Im curious to see who you guys THINK will or should be chosen for All NBA First and Second Teams. It doesn’t matter the positions. You don’t necessarily have to have a Center. If its 5 forwards that you feel deserve it, then so be it.

^^^^ I thought the all NBA teams had to be based on position? This is mine pased on position (2 guards, 2 forwards, and a center).

    First Team:

CP3, Harden, Lebron, K.D, Dwight Howard

Curry, Westbrook (bold choice, but I feel he will finish out strong), Melo (lets face it, hes having a better year than PG), Griffin, Cousins

Wall, DWade, PG, Aldrige, Al Jefferson (he is having an amazing season…)

Honorable mentions: Kyrie, Tony Parker, Lillard, Dragic, Anthony Davis

Melo over PG24?  Have you seen their teams records?  PG24 buys into the system that makes everyone around him better.  If Melo was a leader he’d figure it out with his teammates rather than shrug his shoudlers when a real team comes in and blows up the NY Knickerblowers.  They’re not even a playoff team in the East…and they have a 2nd team all NBA forward?  LOL

Make your teammates better, then you’ll get some respect.

Melo has had the better season, and as of right now is the better player. This is not an award based on who is winning, but more so on how well they are playing individually. George has alot more talent around him than Melo, simple as that. No need to use this as the opportunity to troll about melo.

You’re asking who we think WILL or SHOULD be on the all nba teams, yet you also mentioned regardless of position.

The main point of the all nba team format is to acknowledge the players who are the best of the best at the following postions: guard, forward, and center. The all nba format shouldn’t just cut out an center like the Allstar game because it’s primary focus is not about entertainment value, or pleasing the fans.

Actually you’re wrong. The All NBA Teams are not based on position. It is simply based on who deserves to be on the team. Go back and look at some of the previous teams. Some have had 2 centers, some have had 3 small forwards, some have even had 2 point guards.

Was based off of putting who I thought was most derserving accounting for both record stats and importance to team success.

That’s  why I put a Roy Hibbert there instead of a Demarcus.

I totally forgot about Melo but can you blame me he’s in the east and is 10 games below .500

Did they take the center position off the all nba teams are was that just for the all-star team because if thats the case

1st team:  Paul, Harden, James, George, Griffin

2nd team: Curry, Irving, Mello, Love, Howard

But its you can shuffle the names of Griffin, Love, and Aldridge Its starting to become and boring arguement on who is the best of the three

Really hard to omit Roy Hibbert, but Big Al is just having a great season and helping a Bobcats team without much talent and some major injury issues stay in playoff contention, even in the weak Eastern conference.  Hibbert is the much better defender, but the Bobcats are defending fine and their offense is really reliant of Jefferson.

Dwyane Wade also gets snubbed, mainly due to his large amount of time off.  Dirk was a contender, but I couldn’t justify putting him ahead of any of the other, more productive forwards on these teams.

If they could ever get the 2nd team ALL NBA to play the 3rd team ALL NBA, then Blake could guard himself.

Assuming that the positions are 2 guards, 2 forwards, and a center:

1st team: Chris Paul, Paul George, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard

2nd team: Steph Curry, James Harden, Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Joakim Noah

3rd team: John Wall, Damien Lillard, Carmelo Anthony, Lamarcus Aldridge, Roy Hibbert

I hate having to leave off guys like Dirk, Kyrie, Wade, Big Al, Dragic, Bosh, and many more. They all deserve recognition for their great years and contributing to their team’s success. The guys I chose took it to another level in my opinion.
