Knicks’ guard Raymond Felton arrested

New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested early Tuesday morning on multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon, according to a police department spokesman.

Felton was charged on with three counts total, second and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm, which are felonies, and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor, reports the Wall Street Journal’s Chris Herring.
New York Post’s Larry Celona reports that Felton allegedly pointed a gun at a women and that Felton’s wife, who recently filed for divorce, was also being questioned.
“Ariane Raymondo-Felton was being quizzed at the 20th Precinct Station House on the Upper West Side, according to law-enforcement sources. It was not clear where the alleged incident happened.”

  Never a big fan of Plaxico, but I thought his sentence was a little harsh. Maybe I am biased, since I live in Chicago, which is the new "Murder Capital of the World" (so I guess we aren’t harsh ENOUGH), but I feel like they used Plaxico to set an example.

What a terrible year this guy has been having. New York has the most media in the world and all we have heard all year long is that the Knicks need a better point guard. Seems like he will have to have a little jail time.

Doubt he gets jail time.

Money talks, not saying thats all that matters but we’ve seen numerous ppl walk from far worst without jail time(T.I)

Money talks, but NY has the craziest gun laws.. He will get at least a year by a Plea, if his girl testifies he could be looking at 3 years.. Adam Silver may suspend him if hes guilty.. Its all on her, and they are going through a divorce so his career is in her hands right now.. It sucks because hes in his prime. He is still the starting PG for the knicks despite his bad season.
