The Wolves are 25-28, six games out of the 8th seed. Most believe they’ll need to go something like 22-7 to make the playoffs. Both Pekovic and Martin are still out of the lineup… Obviously there are a lot of rumors floating around. Many of them are baseless, but still, what I’m reading and hearing about the Wolves is very saddening. Apparently the team is "going to great lengths to keep Love happy." Instead of fielding offers for Love, they’re looking to make small moves in order to make a push for the playoffs. Players like Andre Miller and Tony Allen are being thrown around as possible band-aids. My question is: Why? When was the last time a small-market team bended over for a disgruntled "Superstar" and it worked? You make a trade for Andre Miller or Tony Allen to make a good team great, not to turn a disappointing team into a mediocre one. I could read the Wells Report and actually feel better…I could watch Grown Ups 2 and feel bet–never mind, that movie sucks too much. At least I have this to cheer me up:

So, I can joke about a team bending over and taking it, I can joke about bullying, I can joke about bad movies, but If I joke about Joy Division and self-mutilation my post gets edited? Well, at least I know where the line is now. Just so you know, I was going for the whole three is comedy thing, but I digress..
But seriously, thank you for organizing my post into a neat and orderly paragraph. While your at it, could you change “bended” to “bent”? Thanks.

The Wolves have a strong interest in Andre Miller. I think he will be a great addition. I loved watching him in the first game of the playoff series last season against GS. They could even play him and rubio in the backcourt together for some mins….

  Good luck finding space in the paint if both Miller and Rubio play towether. It would be the worst mid range shooting backcourt of all time!

The rumor on the Grizzlies message board that I heard was Minny trading Chase Budinger and JJ Barea to Memphis for Tony Allen and Tayshaun Prince.
Not sure why the T Wolves would do that. Are they going to play Prince, Tony Allen, and Rubio at the same time? Who is going to shoot?
Grizzlies fans have mixed feelings about the deal. Primarily due to an emotional attachment to Tony Allen.
I think I would do the deal for Memphis given that we also save $2 million.
The Grizzlies would be loaded inside, have an extra point guard (JJ Barea) who can also score, and give us a third young player on the wing (Budinger to go with James Johnson and Courtney Lee). We still have Mike Miller as our veteran shooter.
