Knicks looking at Teague

I honestly don’t know what the Knicks have that would be attractive besides Shump and Hardaway.  They would be fools to include Hardaway, IMO, but they have ALWAYS seemed to undervalue draft picks and young players.  This seems to be the complete opposite of almost every single NBA GM who seem to OVER value draft picks and players on rookie deals with team control.  I laugh when I read that the "Knicks are interested in Rondo" as well, because I just don’t know what they have to give.  Next season is the more likely time for New York to make moves because they will have expiring contracts that will have value.  I am not saying that Tyson Chandler is a bad player but I don’t think his contract is something most teams would be willing to take on until next season.  I haven’t done the research but does New York have many draft picks remaining in the next few seasons?  I don’t remember if they gave other teams the right to swap picks or if they actually retained them, or if I am just mixing up the Knicks and the Nets (another team with a terrible future ahead of them).

I read a three team deal discussions.  Jeff Teague to Toronto, Kyle Lowry to the Knicks and Shumpert to the Hawks.  I just dont believe it – that is a bad deal for the Hawks.

No way I would do this if I were the Hawks unless an unprotected first round is thrown in somewhere.  Shumpert and Hardaway just wouldn’t be enough.  The Knicks don’t own their first rounder this year and since they are prohibited from sending their 2015 pick to the Hawks I doubt there’s enough to make this deal happen.

 The Knicks might as well keep window shopping, because they seem to be interested in a lot, but have pretty much nothing to offer.

 i’m a wolves fan and the knicks can have rubio for shumpert if they want. i’m sick of watching rubio. he’s a good passer but thats it. His D is garbage, the only reason he gets steals is because he’s always gambling on D. He has the worst jump shot of any guard in the league. teams don’t even have to guard him on the pick and roll…..they just go way under and play it soft because they know he can’t shoot. i’ll take shumpert. at least he’s athletic and plays D. and has a better chance of developing a J then rubio. then the wolves just draft or get a point guard in free-agency.
