Proposing a trade package including the Morris Bros, E. Okafor, A. Goodwin, and 1st rounders 22 and 30 for 2014 draft and suns 2015 pick for Kevin Love and Corey Brewer. Would prefer a third team for a lock down SF to defend Durant and Lebron. Might get far in the playoffs this year and build with Wizards pick this year and Lakers pick next year.
Does anyone know if the Lakers pick for 2015 which was traded to the Suns is protected and to which pick??

PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantWhat did Boston trade for Garnett…
The package going back to Minnesota, sources say, is built around two assets Wolves vice president Kevin McHale has long coveted: Al Jefferson and Theo Ratliff’s expiring contract. It is believed the deal also calls for the Celtics to ship youngsters Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair and Ryan Gomes to Minnesota, along with a future first-round draft pick and the return of a first-rounder the Wolves surrendered in the Wally Szczerbiak-Ricky Davis trade in January 2006.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantTo be fair, Al Jefferson was still an elite prospect at the time. They couldn’t have known that he’d turn out to be an offensive black hole, haha

Rip255You are asking for a 3 to lock down lebron, when he’s in the other conference. Phoenix isnt even close to making the NBA finals and you’re planning already to stop lebron.
Not only is this logic foolish, but Corey Brewer actually comes in your trade and he’s a perfect match-up defensively for both those guys at the SF position.

PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantCorey Brewer can be in the trade or a third team instead with lockdown SF. This purposal is 7 players for 2. Some other team can share in the trade

CavFanPRParticipantCleveland – Minnesota
Cleveland trades: Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, Alonzo Gee, ’14 first round pick, ’14 second round pick, ’15 first round pick from Memphis & Miami.
Minnesota trades: Kevin Love
Both sides win. They get two studs, a very good wing defender and a lot of picks to speed up their rebuild.

Jayhawks2011ParticipantI’m a twolves fan, but not a huge fan of Love and would love to see him traded. Right now I would prefer that the team go into full tank mode and try to unload Love. The cavs for waiters, thompson, a 1st, and contracts seems legit. However if they do not get a trade done by the deadline I would love to see them trade Love to the Lakers for their 1st round pick… Not a great move long term for the Lakers, but it would make Kobe happy that he does not have to wait for a player to develop and can chase a championship with Love.

eric2013ParticipantCap wise I belive it wont be posible…. However, Gasol and the 1st rd pick for him would do the trick.
Lakers would do it, wont they? I think Minny could ask for something else.

Magic JordanParticipantAs a Laker fan I will pass. I would rather keep the potential top 6 pick and rough it out in 2015 and sign K Love outright. Otherwise they have little means to add talent for the future. They need a potential starter on a rookie contract especially if they plan on adding Love in 2015. That’s the cycle I see them taking. Rookie in 2014, Love in 2015, Max Player 2 in 2016 after Kobe comes off the books.

Memphis MadnessParticipantHere is another Kevin Love trade. It’s not with my team, but I would really like to see what Kevin Love can do with them.
This may look like a really lopsided trade but here it is:
Kevin Love and JJ Barea (plus his sizeable contract) go to the Golden State Warriors for David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Kent Bazemore, Draymond Green, Jermaine O’Neal’s two million dollar expiring contract, cash, and two future first round picks.
Love is an all-star and an Olympian BUT David Lee can put up great stats too. Lee might not have the extended range that Love does BUT he can shoot. Harrison Barnes is a guy I like at the small forward spot. He can shoot, has solid size, and is a good dunker (although not a great guy for that dunk contest). He thrived with Kendall Marshall at UNC, so with Ricky Rubio in Minny, Barnes should do very well.
Bazemore is a young player that is pretty good. Draymond Green is a versatile glue guy with smarts. O’Neal is a veteran who can play a bit. He also has a decent expiring contract. Plus, the T Wolves will have two more future picks to deal with.
The Warriors lose some depth but they gain one of the best players in the league. He can shoot, score, rebound, and stretch the floor. He would be an IDEAL fit with the Warriors’ backcourt of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Then you have Iggy at the 3 with Andrew Bogut at center. The Warriors wouldn’t be deep, but they would still have Mo Speights and Festus Ezeli as big men reserves. They also bring over JJ Barea who has Golden State Warrior written all over. As long as this team stays healthy, they could be very, very dangerous (at least on offense).
link: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kq6mz88
With this trade you obviously know what the two teams are wanting to do. The Warriors want a BIG FOUR of Steph Curry, Kevin Love (Curry and Love out of the pick and roll WOW!), Klay Thompson, and Andre Iguodala. JJ Barea is their new instant offense 6th man combo guard with Bogut, Mo Speights, and Ezeli being their other big men in the rotation.
The T Wolves reconfigure their team around Ricky Rubio. Bazemore gets a shot at the backup point guard spot. On the wings the T Wolves can go with Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger (when healthy), Corey Brewer, Shabazz Muhammed, and Harrison Barnes. Nikola Pekovic is obviously their center, with the newly acquired David Lee, Draymond Green (point forward off the bench?), and Jermaine O’Neal at power forward.
In the draft the T Wolves might want to look at a running mate for Ricky Rubio if Aaron Gordon is still on the board. That would allow them to go with a smaller, but more athletic and quicker starting front line of Barnes, Aaron Gordon, and David Lee. Then they have two second round picks that they might want to try to package to move up.

tuck243ParticipantIs it just me or majority of the trades I see are to the Suns? I know they are playing well without a legit Superstar, but do you really think a player that is facing FA in the “stack a team” era is going to sign back with the Suns? Obviously players with something to prove will. Like James Harden signing to Houston, but a player who clearly already has his own team in Minny, you guys think will resign with a team that isn’t a contender? That’s like a I saw Melo to the Suns earlier. Huh? You think Melo is going to resign with the Suns? Really? Not lucrative as far as location AND they aren’t contenders. Melo will stay a Knick before going to Phoenix.
