Another Australian prospect. Is he too good for his age or to good for his competition.

It’s way too early to tell- it’s really hit or miss with high school guys that dominate, and mix tapes make everybody look good (that’s all I’ve seen of him so far). That all said, he looks like a taller, longer version of KG from the highlight videos.

  Its a lofty comparison but in this highlight video he looks an awful lot like Durant. He’s a very unique player and I’m excited to see the way he turns out.

Kevin Garnett should be the guy he emulates. He has similar size and would be force on D. I hope he doesnt attempt to be Durant. Isaiah Austin tries and Perry Jones tried to play on the wing. He shouldnt.

Unlike Isiah, this kid has the foot speed to play on the wing, and unlike Perry, Thon has above average perimeter skills such as a servicable handle and a pretty decent jumper to play on the perimeter. It would be crazy not to at least try, this kid has immense talent and could be a very similar mold of player as Durant. Just because he is tall and athletic doesnt mean he plays at all like either Perry or Isiah.

I read somewhere recently (I believe on twitter so can’t say the source was 100%) that he was trying to become a Canadian citizen! I know he was in Toronto a bunch last summer. Would love it if it was confirmed to be true. He’s so smooth coordination wise for someone his age with his length
