Prime TimeParticipantWill Scottie Wilbekin get drafted? Can he stick in the league?
He’s one of the toughest players in the country, and he’s a dog on defense. He handles the ball well when pressured, and now he can knock down the 3-ball. He’s also clearly the leader of the currently #3 ranked Florida Gators. He has a win-or-die attitude, and he steps up and takes over when he needs to.
Does anyone have any player comparisons for him?
Maybe an Avery Bradley type player?

RealDeal24ParticipantThe only knock I know of as a huge gator fan is that he tends to get in trouble in the offseason and suspended indefinitely as this has happened twice. I think if Aaron Craft can squeeze into the late second round, Wilbekin def deserves a few looks. He is a great defensive point guard and can run an offense.

qDizzle32ParticipantHe has a slim chance of going in the 50’s. There’s always players nobody has in their mock drafts such as Romero Osby and Arsalan Kazemi who end up getting picked anyway. Even though he’s had some troubles off the court, NBA teams would probably admire his work ethic.

JoeWolf1I don’t think so. His shot selection is a bit suspect, which has helped propel him to some big games but he’s shooting under 40% on the year. He is a good defender, but when you compare him to a guy like Craft…he’s nearly 30 lbs lighter, which will hurt him guarding NBA points.
He is a very good college basketball player, but he doesn’t strike me as a NBA draft pick. He is a guy who’d probably put up big numbers in the D-League, so maybe he could get a call up if a team runs into injury trouble.
