Lillard in the Dunk Cointest and Three point

 Is he that crazy of a dunker? I’ve seen him dunk, but it’s pretty much just a one hander every time. Also read that right now the field is Lillard, T Ross, Paul George, John Wall. Are we witnessing the dunk contest renaissance this year?

He is a up and coming star already. He wants to do it why not ? I rather have a big name then a bench guy for the most part. Players only known to be dunkers have failed bad as anyone in the contest it seems like as long as I can remember.</

 John wall will be fun to watch in the dunk contest because he can dunk left or right handed, and jump off one or two feet (which is a big thing people over look in dunkers).  He doesn’t have very big hands, so some of the full extension windmills, etc. will be nearly impossible, but I’ll at least watch the dunk contest this year.

How about this year, they actually got some stars! George, Lillard, and Wall will pull off some sick stuff. Also got some young blood with Mclemore, Barnes and Ross.

Star power really helps the dunk contest.  Paul George is a rising superstar and John Wall is also a star.  Can’t wait!  T Ross won it last year right? 

I think McLemore will be solid, but I wouldn’t call him a favorite.  It would be cool if Jimmer threw him some passes. 

I am surprised to see Lillard and Barnes in there, but hopefully they show me something.  Harrison Barnes is a good athlete, he just doesn’t bring it all the time. 

Hopefully the best dunker wins and they don’t try to "force" a winner.

 Lillard is going to burn himself out. He still has to play in the Rising Stars game, All star game and do the skills competition. Plus all those interviews/media stuff.

The dude is 23 years old and used to playing 40 minutes a night…I am sure 40 minutes of activity total for All-Star weekend won’t burn him out.

I agree, the NBA is trying to market him the same way they marketed Kyrie Irving last year.  The opportunity is there, now Lillard has to capture it and make himself memorable that weekend.
