Has 56 points at the end of the third quarter will be interesting with them up so big to see if he plays much in the fourth.

Still in with 9 mins to go in the 4th with 60 points. I hope they just leave him in even they are up 253 points, at the very least it will get Knicks fans excited and who doesn’t like seeing 60/70 point ganmes!

this is a statement right here and as a knicks fan i really wanna se 70 points tonight just so people realize melo is the best scorer in this game even if the knicks have sucked this year it doesnt take away what melo is to this league. btw melo is tied with bernard king right now with most points in a knicks uniform 60 points.

I respect KD, but Carmelo is still the best scorer in the game. He’s just so much harder to stop. KD can shoot over anybody, but mostly needs picks and wide open lanes when driving. Melo, one-on-one is a mismatch for everyone. Quick first step.Back up,he’ll shoot. Close in, he’ll go around you. Body him, he’ll go through you.
Tonight he had the performance I’ve been waiting on
23-35fg 6-11 3pt 10-10 free throws 13rbs

  Wow, you respect KD. The second best player on planet earth. I’m sure that means something to somebody. KD is definitely the better scorer. Doesn’t have to take 30 shots to score 30-40 like Melo. Melo was efficient tonight, yes, but that is rare. His team is bad and he always takes a ton of shots to get his points. Half the time, KD doesn’t even have the most shot attempts on his team and he puts up 30 a night easy. KD is a better shooter, better ball handler, better decision maker, better BBIQ, better Percentage shooter(fg,3pt and ft) and better passer for good measure. Melo is even behind Bron as best scorer. Born doesn’t have to score as much nor does he want to because his other skills are vastly superior. But congrats to Melo on the big night. I’m a big fan.

    Actually I strongly believe Melo is the best scorer. KD avg 31 Melo avg 26
    kD takes 20shots per game along with 11fts.
    Melo takes 21shots along with 7 fts. He’s no more of a chucker than KD. You KD just had 40 poins on 29 shots. Melo had 60 on 35. Youre statements werent true.
    Another point… Melo has a less talented team with inefficient shooters and 0 shot creators which influences the pressure he sees and affects the quality of shots he has to take. KD has the opposite. KD has 2 of the best midrange shooters in the league. Serge and Russ. Also he has guards that can get bresk guys down off the dribble, usually leaving KD with a open 3. Basically he has help.
    Last, KD shoots it over you, goes to the goal when he has a straight drive from a pick, or shoots wide open. Rarely blows by you, never goes through you. Rarely posts. Melo shoots over you, shoots open, blows by you, goes through you, posts up and bullies you.
    Im not saying Melo is a better player, but definitely a better scorer.
