DondiJohnParticipantWill he get some love for MIP considerations? He’s 24th in the league in scoring and 12th in assists. He’s playing very well as a starter, problem is the Kings havent been winning.

B-ball fanParticipantI don’t think anyone will really challenge Anthony Davis for winning the award, but Thomas has had a fantastic season. His numbers as a starter have been great, the team has been winning much more often as of late, and he showed significant improvement even before being promoted to starter. The numbers he is putting up are very much on superior to most of the league’s elite PGs and he has the second best PER of any point guard this season, after Chris Paul. He still struggles on defense, but he has established himself as both one of the most productive and efficient point guards in the NBA.

SportsNinjaParticipantHis growth seems more like natural progression than what normally wins a MIP award. DMC is the best player on the team (and probably the most improved), but Thomas might be the MVP. If you watch the games I think you’d get what I’m saying, even though it sounds like total double speak.

redeyejediParticipantIsiah is easily the Most Important Player on the Kings. Floor general, more of a team leader than DMC. It is easy to respect Isiah for how hard he has worked to become a legitamate starting pg. And he is always the first off the bench during timeouts.
In the embarassing Kings-Cavs tilt last night (Cavs scored 30 second half points to the King’s 65), IT outplayed Kyrie, who couldn’t make a layup

220ParticipantThere are a few possibilities for MIP lead by Anthony Davis. Lance Stephenson and Eric Bledsoe are sure to be in the running for MIP.

Sewok15ParticipantBledsoe was but not anymore. He is out for a while after that knee surgery. Davis is the clear frontrunner since he is averaging 6 more points a game than last year and also leading the league in blocks.
