GlenTaylorSucksParticipantJerian Grant is out for the year due to an ‘academic issue.’
1) ND is screwed.
2) I’ll admit, I haven’t seen him play much, does he look like an NBA prospect? I can’t imagine this episode will be good for his stock lol

machu46ParticipantI can’t imagine he’d be anything more than a 2nd round pick even if he finished out the year. Don’t think he’s destined for an NBA career anyways.

arowsky205ParticipantWhat a shame. I was really starting to warm up to him for first round consideration. He’s tall for a PG, has a great first step, gets to the line frequently, is a really good shooter (41% from 3 and 87% from the line), and he’s one of the most gifted passers in the country. Now the chances of him going in the first round are very slim, but I hope this doesn’t ruin his chances of getting drafted all together. A team that takes him in the second round could potentially get a steal.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantEasily a 1st rounder.
Elite size, very good shooter, very good facilitator and passer, very good poise. Has shown great leadership on the court although this is definitely a step in the wrong direction. I mean, excluding this incident, what bad can you say about Jerian Grant? I guess he isn’t an amazing athlete (does, though, have a great first step as arowsky mentioned). That’s about it. But then again, you don’t have to be a phenomenal athlete to successfully man the point in the NBA.

Take a gander at that video. Jerian Grant dropped 12 points in less than 30 seconds against Louisville, the #1 defense in the land, to take the game into OT.
If Brandon Knight, a shorter, worse playmaking version of Grant, can go 8th overall then NBA GMs would have to be clinically delusional to not take Grant in the top 30.
