im still ecstatic about Carolina getting theo pinson. I remember how hyped he was when he first entered high school, I know its died down a lot since, but im still a big fan. I love everything about his game, he handles the ball well, is a elite athlete with elite quickness, he really competes on defense, and has a very serviceable mid-range game. I just hope he stays at Carolina for more than a year(wishful thinking on my part) to let roy Williams develop his game more.

I like him.  He’s very well-rounded and is an underrated playmaker.  He needs to put on more weight so that his ability to slash and finish can translate.  Needs to shore up that deep jumper too, otherwise he’s got all the other requisite skills to be an all-around player.

As for who out of their ’14 will be their next star, I can’t call it.  J.Berry will be on the ball and he already runs a club like a college upperclassman.  Pinson has that all-around, swiss army knife capabality with the best transition game of the 3.  Justin Jackson looks awesome too.  By the looks of him during his matchup with Myles Turner, he appears to have gotten stronger. He’s an underrated, versatile defender and he’s already got one of the best mid-range games of any prospect college on down.

Great class though. Good mixture of skill and smarts.  Good for the program too since none of them project to be one and done either.

Reminds me of a more athletic Julius Hodge game wise.

That’s pretty fair.  Hopefully Theo develops the jumper that Julius never had.
