Teams by performance, not by votes

     East

PG: Michael Carter Williams (For record team and performance is the best positioned, amazing)

SG: DeMar DeRozan (Toronto is about 50% and he averaged 26,8 points in the last 5 games)

SF: Paul George (The best player on the best team in its best season)

PF: LeBron James (King of NBA, SF with 60% FG)

C: Roy Hibbert (Second best player on the best team with 4,2 bpg)

6: Carmelo Anthony (His team is not top but he is future all of fame and top 3 player of east)

7: Kyrie Irving (Although his team down, this guy is up)

8: Al Horford (His team work in summit and he is very great player)

9: Luol Deng (Award of VCP, Very Consisten Player)

10: Chris Bosh (Should not be, but his team is up and will introduced)

11: Bradley Beal (The child playing really well and is very consistent at 20)

12: Lance Stephenson (leads league in triples doubles and he is strong candidate for MIP)

    WEST

PG: Chris Paul (Best PG of NBA, I recently broke a record of Mr. Magic)

SG: Kobe Bryant (Maybe this season he has lost SG title, but the votes are there)

SF: Kevin Durant ( Behind LeBron, he is the second best player of NBA)

PF: Blake Griffin (Great season for top3 PF in the league, power fame of dunks)

C: Dwight Howard (In Houston he feels comfortable, it demonstrated)

6: James Harden (Best SG in NBA, his team is runner up)

7: Russell Westrbook (top 3 PG in NBA, gradually he will take consistency after the injury)

8: Kevin Love: (Probably the best PF in NBA, this season he playing like Garnett stats)

9: Tony Parker: (You can not miss the hottest player of the second best team)

10: LaMarcus Aldridge: (He playing as good as ever, and his team wins)

11: Anthony Davis: (Fear the unibrown, he is plays amazing sophomore season)

12: Stephen Curry: (He finally gets to be respected)

Remember, this is just my humble opinion, and i based on how things are to this day

How are you gonna say it’s about performance, not votes, and then say Kobe gets in because of votes?

can’t go wrong with either.  Wall is avg 18ppg, 9apg, 2spg but is shooting a crap percentage from the field and Beal is avg 21ppg, 3apg, 4rpg while shooting 46% from 3 but on around 41 from the field. I’d take Wall because he creates so many shots for his shooters.

First of all, that makes no sense how you said this is by performance not votes. Then you said Kobe will be on there because of votes? And if that is the case for Kobe, there is no way MCW will get voted in as a starter.

When I voted last week I had Lance Stephenson as a starter.  With his team still rolling and another triple double under his belt, I am liking that pick.

I think MCW should get in, but maybe not start.

My Eastern Conference front line is LeBron, Paul George, and Roy Hibbert.  The guard spots are open, but I went with Lance and D Wade.  I think John Wall and Kyrie Irving deserve to get in.  Carmelo is a top 8 guy in the East.  Don’t think he should start though.  I bet it would be a first to have 3 Pacers start in the All-Star game, but it could happen this year.  Could be 3 Pacers and two Miami players (LeBron and Wade).

The West is deeper, and I don’t see how you can put Kobe Bryant in, since he hasn’t played a game yet.  If he doesn’t play until December then he might not have enough games to get voted in.

I would go with Chris Paul, Harden, Durant, Kevin Love, and Dwight Howard to start.  My first four guys off the bench would be Tony Parker, Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis.  Then Blake Griffin, but I don’t think he should start.  I would go with either Klay Thompson, Kevin Martin, Monta Ellis, o for the last spot on the team.  LaMarcus Aldridge should get in based on his numbers and the Blazers’ success so far.

someone will have to explain luol deng being an all-star to me. I don’t watch a ton of bulls games, but every time I do, I don’t see him looking like an allstar, and ive felt that way for years.

At the risk of sounding like a homer I think Arron Afflalo is more deserving of an All-Star berth at this point of the season than either Derozan or Beal.

    Derozan is averaging 21.2 PPG on 41.9 FG%, 36.4 3PT% and 81.6 FT%

    Beal has 20.8 PPG on 41 FG%, 46.7 3PT% and 79.4 FT%

Afflalo is putting up 22.5 PPG on 49.4 FG%, 54.1 3PT% and 82 FT%. He’s also a better defender than the other two.

Afflalo deserves to make the team. He’s been a leader this season for a very young Magic team

    U know it’s coming.

Bro how you aint got Teague in the top 12 in the East? Hawks are sitting in 3rd place and Teague is leading them in PPG and APG, arguably the best PG in the east, and def top 12 player in the East as of now.

Lol Teague is clearly the best point guard in the East and he’s not even in your All-Star list?

West is stacked with PG’s.  Hard to believe Lawson probably won’t be in the game this year.

If we are talking about who will get in from the fans’ votes then really we only need to consider the starters as the Head Coaches will pick the bench players in several weeks time and those tend to reflect team standings as much as individual performances.

We can all probably guess 7 or 8 of the likely starters straight up but to see new starters is always refreshing and taking the All Star game as a whole, hopefully we’ll see a few new faces in there.
